We had a small wedding at a registry office and initially were considering whether it was worth having a professional photographer. When I was considering this I found Savage Photography and Jason contacted me explaining the coverage offered, what to expect and the cost for this. We decided to go ahead and I am so happy that we did. From the first time we spoke to Jason we felt immediately at ease, knew that the photography was in hand and that we had made a great choice. Roll onto our wedding day and Jason was the perfect balance of outgoing and chatty to subtly capturing the perfect candid shots. We felt at ease with him during our wedding day and he made sure nothing was missed. Jason knew the area and suggested various shots to capture and made sure we had all the photos we wanted, even including our dogs. All of our family who attended commented on how impressed they were with Jason. We received the finished photos around a week later and wow we were blown away! They far surpassed our expectations. Everyone who suggested it was unnecessary to have a professional photographer said they were so pleased that we did and all wanted copies of the photos! From the 1st video call we had with Jason, we knew he was going to be our Wedding photographer, we didn’t even look for any others. Nothing was too much trouble, he put us all at ease, the guests commented how great he was, most the time we didn’t even know he was there, he wasn’t pushy or demanding and even stayed over his time into the evening to get some unexpected photos. We hired Jason to shoot our wedding at the end of September 2024. We first contacted him several months prior and he was very quick to respond and super friendly and engaging. We scheduled a video call to go through what we were looking for and wanted from a photographer, he's very flexible and knows his stuff. The day itself was naturally terrifying and exciting but Jason was very calming, never intrusive and captured the most incredible pictures starting with my wife getting ready before a few of us guys in the pub before the service. Inside the church, I never saw him once, he was quick to get into the perfect position every time a knew just where to be and when. Right from the very beginning, Jason has been absolutely brilliant throughout the whole process. We began with a video chat, in which he was very thorough and organised, running through the whole day with us, discussing timings, etc. At that point, neither of us had much of an idea of what was happening and when, and his suggestions for timings and structure, based on his experience of weddings, was really helpful for our planning of the day in the early stages. Between then and the day, communication with him was easy and convenient, and he was always available for questions whenever we needed him. On the day, he was excellent - so many of the shots have surprised us, because we genuinely had no idea they'd been taken at the time! He caught so many wonderful moments, and did so in the most incredibly unobtrusive way. While in the main photo-taking period of the day he took charge professionally, getting people where they needed to be and ensuring the best pictures possible, in other times we didn't even notice that he was there - he was like a photography ninja, hiding in the corners and getting some truly excellent shots. I don't know a lot about photography, but I know enough to see the artistry and hard work that's gone into our photos when we opened them - the composition, framing and capturing of the moment in them is everything we wished for and more. After-service has been excellent: Jason left us a lovely email with all our download links in, and has said that he will edit any of our photos (cropping, changing colours, black and white, etc) for free at any time. We've requested a few edits to colour, cropping, etc and he's accommodated everything we wanted. He even produced two videos which really captured the heart and soul of our wedding, which was an unexpected and very welcome bonus - he is generous with his time, his effort and his expertise. His work is beautiful, and he's a good and genuine man as well, so we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Jason was so professional and he impressed us with his service from our first zoom meeting. He asked all the right questions so he was able to really capture what we wanted from our day and the results are incredible!!! With a mix of staged photos and real life in the moment photos he really captured how our day felt and it was lovely to look through and get to relive our amazing day! Would recommend to anyone!

Jason travelled up from Nottingham to Llandudno and from the moment of his arrival to when he finished he was professional, sensitive, patient and approachable.
