Just had lunch here for our Anniversary. Food was excellent. I had hake with a chickpea ragout followed by a delicious rum and date pudding with toffee sauce and and banana ice cream. My husband had onglet steak and he chose chocolate brownie. They have only been open 2 weeks, so well done. Will definitely be back. More...

We had Sunday lunch here recently and it was amazing. We had our wedding reception here 2 years ago and were a bit sad to hear it had been taken over and were worried that it wouldn't be as good but needn't have been! The portion sizes were really generous and it was super tasty. We were made to feel really welcome, only slight improvement I could suggest is to have a children's menu available as we were told there isn't one or make it clear on the main menus that Childrens portion sizes are available and list the price of them :) More...

What a lovely place! I booked a table for 2 as it was our wedding anniversary so asked to be seated somewhere nice. Spoke to Jack who was extremely helpful (even when I had to call up and change the reservation time). Upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff and had a lovely table in the conservatory. Food was perfect (I can recommend the mussels for starter and the steak for mains) and portion size is very good indeed. Waiting staff were attentive and the owner came out to congratulate us on our anniversary. We were looked after extraordinarily well so will definitely be going back. Highly recommend. We had a family meal for 25 people on 25/6. From the first phone call with Ewa to the last email she worked tirelessly to make our day special. ..and believe me there were many emails! From arranging tables to special dietary requirements she was fantastic; even allowing sneaky peak at menus before they were listed. On the day the waiting staff and Ewa were on hand fetching extra veg for my Family; bringing cake knife / serviettes and even kinder eggs for the children.
