Samuel George Salmon, the founder and co-owner of SEG, was born in South London in 1991.
His interest in engineering was sparked during childhood by accompanying his father to work—a pursuit that began as a way to avoid chores but evolved into a genuine passion for electrical and mechanical maintenance.

Samuel honed his skills across various sectors, including the NHS, civil service, energy and data centres, and the Royal Navy. His experience spans engineering maintenance, building management systems, energy management, medical gas, and both low and high-voltage systems.
