We provide a unique customer focused service with personnel from Police and/or Military backgrounds. Some of which have undergone further training and accreditation with "Historic England" in conjunction with specialist fire training in incident management, salvage and recovery in line with Museum Accreditation Standard.
I have a background in both specialist military and police services.
Initial call and meetings are complimentary and without obligation, not all projects/tasks are invoiced. I offer a very unique service which sometimes gives the customer all the information they need to follow up their due diligence without incurring costs. We carry out search and locate investigations for several clients, one of which is the largest Enforcement Agency (bailiff company) in the UK.
We run two Residential Security Teams 24/7 for private clients in Wiltshire and North Somerset and provide close protection (bodyguard) services to visiting VIP's to the UK as well individuals and children on a bespoke security basis.
Other such tasks have included investigations with civil court cases such child custody, commercial and residential property and a family dispute involving a large private estate in Somerset.
Surveillance and evidence gathering for clients who suspect their partners are cheating or involved in criminal/immoral activities.
I conduct surveillance and gather evidence on a number of topics such as fraudulent business activities, unfaithful partners and asset location and recovery where legally possible, including Europe.
I act as an intermediary between Solicitors and clients advising and saving clients time, money and reduced their stress during court involvement.
Every task is different and the needs of the clients are prioritised.
All first consultations are free, as it has to be a task I can undertake, so a detailed meet is needed to assess how I can assist. Costings will be discussed at the outset.
At the end of every week each client is given a breakdown of progress and fees to date. Invoices are submitted at the end of each job or monthly on protracted cases which need to be settled within 14 days.

Physical Intervention Training

Control & Restraint
Control and restraint is typically used by staff at Care Homes, Schools and Mental Health units. Both the private and public sector usually opt for their staff to be trained as part of their duty of care as an employer. Breakaway techniques can simply be put into place to ensure that staff are removed from any harm they may face. Staff are adequately prepared for situations that can lead to injury to themselves and / or others due to others’ actions. The physical intervention training techniques by Salient Training & Consultancy’s team include gross motor skills that can be easily learned, and more importantly retained for when needed. An annual refresher is recommended and documentation to complete staff CPD.

Law and Risk Management
Through case studies we highlight the Duty of Care, Corporate Manslaughter Act and on why physical intervention training is necessary. This module is delivered to head teachers and business sectors. It allows guidance and policy analysis of current scopes of work including emergency restraint belt, soft cuffs and handcuffing protecting both the person being retained and the staff member.

Conflict Management Training
This course raises participant’s understanding of conflict and the contribution they can make to either de-escalate or actions that can escalate an incident. Participants will learn and practice skills to build their confidence, remain calm, take control of a situation and de-escalate customer conflicts through effective problem solving.

None of us want to think of the consequences when a person in our care sustains injury or worse. Various regulatory bodies and police investigations with staff suspensions/detentions and the organisation being highlighted in the media are just some of the issues faced.
