Brilliant Job from a Top Team
I had Royal Paving in to block pave my driveway and landscape the back garden, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the results.
From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and genuinely cared about the quality of their work – which is getting rarer these days.
The driveway looks sharp, solid, and built to last – no cutting corners, just good old-fashioned craftsmanship. As for the back garden, it’s been completely transformed into a space I actually want to spend time in. Clean lines, great attention to detail, and everything finished off beautifully.
They worked hard, cleaned up after themselves, and were a pleasure to deal with throughout. No pushy sales talk, no disappearing acts – just a reliable, hardworking team who take pride in what they do.
If you’re looking for someone to do the job properly the first time around, Royal Paving are well worth your time. Highly recommend.

Hired James for garden project. WISH NOT BOTHERED.
Abysmal job. Not happy. Artificial turf laid, distinguishable line right across the join.
Pointed out to james, reply was remove portion of turf and add another patio (at extra cost, of course). No frame work set to hold the turf in place, instead, either nailed to the sleepers,(raised beds)/nailed into concrete/firstly nailed into fence panel and then into concrete/nailed into base, some parts of the turf joined with cardboard and tape. Raised beds set in concrete, WITH NO DRAINAGE! Some parts of sleepers not joined correctly filled in with concrete. Patio not level, gap left between last tile and downpipe, resin what there was, all patchy. New fence erected, some panels warped, kick board to new fencing does not *reach* down to the tiles,(there fore left with large gap in between). When mentioned james replied *OH DIDNT THINK OF THAT*, suggested added further panels length wise to lessen the gap, that looked 10 times worse. The list goes on and on. Most of the above discovered when i took a closer look. Already had quotes for further turf to be relaid form other companies going to cost at least another £4000. All of them said it is the worse job they have ever seen and would be ashamed to call it their work. No choice but to have WHOLE project looked at again, at what cost?
Reimbursed for terrible turf, wont even touch the sides for further remedial work.OVERALL COMPLETE SHODDY WORKMAN SHIP from a professional Company. Awarded 1 star only because unalbe to add review unless completed.

James and his lads where amazing, it's really hard to find hard working, reliable and honest trades men, I would recommend these guys not just 100% but 1 million percent, they have transformed mine and my mums drive from old and tatty to modern and fresh looking. The quote was very reasonable, the time scale was spot on, James kept us up to date step by step and any question we had or adjustments we had the team was more than happy to do. I am very disappointed as I was quoted that they would reduce height, and shape all trees and shrubs, remove waste. They sorted out a lorel it had a disease so had to cut more off I have no problem with this the problem I have is all the waist that was left inside the tree & on the ground, when I asked them to take a bit more off some of the shrubs they decimated them.
The rest of the shrubs look like they’ve been hacked & deburey left in & on top. Don’t get me wrong they did take the waist that could be picked up mostly & had nearly a full truck (most of the lorel) the conifers where good.
I just didn’t expect having to sweep the road the pavement clean up the side of the house & the driveway at a coast of £700 & now having to reshape tidy up & cut back if the job was to big they should of said & not bothered.
I now have to do the garden myself & knowing that I’m going too be in a lot of pain but I can not afford another £700 for someone to put it right,
I’m sorry boys for the bad review but when I sore the mess my heart broke as it was my late mums pride & joy, I just wanted you to go.
