From first contact Steve was professional and personable. He was clear about the work the team could complete to give us our new roof and the cost. We were kept updated at every step regarding start date and length the job should take. The team completing the job were friendly and professional, answering any questions we had and letting us know the progress of the job. When the team found a problem with our joists they took us into the loft to show us exactly what the problem was and clearly explained how it would need to be fixed and the extra costs involved. After discuss any costs we were given plenty of time to think about, discuss and look at our finances to decide if we could afford the work. The final roof is excellent. Good news:
The work was excellent, done carefully and efficiently and the end product very satisfactory. The tradesmen turned up on time and worked steadily while I was regularly kept informed of progress.
Bad news:
The final bill was more than two and a half times the initial quote. I chose this company because of the low quote but in the end it was more costly than the quotes from other firms. So, word of caution, get a cast iron guarantee of costs before proceeding. I was caught out and paid handsomely for for it, an extra £2,700.00!
That said, you will still get an excellent job done. No problems with the workmanship.

Can’t begin to thank these 2 fellas enough for the work on my roof, I’ve had a leak for a good couple of weeks now in my conservatory and couldn’t even get reliable men to come see it I rang roof fix uk and they had 2 men to come view the problem within 24 hours ! 48 hours later the roof is fixed / no hassle or mess they even cleaned up after themselves ! To keep our customers safe regards to Covid-19 and to help reduce the spread of Covid-19, our employees wear face coverings where appropriate, which we provide. We also implement social distancing. We have also started giving advice over the phone when possible to reduce the contact with customers and ourselves. In our work vans we also provide hand sanitiser for our employees alike.
