What do you love most about your job?
There are a number aspects of my job that I enjoy, such as meeting new people, finding creative solutions to sometimes quite difficult projects, but I particularly like the evolving nature of Architecture and how it forces you to keep learning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Timing, a desire to undertake projects in a way that I believe to be correct, and the flexibility that being a business owner offers in achieving a preferable work/life balance.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
ROK Architecture can undertake/participate in online meetings (via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.) to allow remote services, but a level of face-to-face contact would be required at particular times during a given project. For example, the preliminary site visit.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
ROK Architecture undertake twice weekly lateral flow testing as standard (Sunday and Wednesday), carry out a precautionary lateral flow test before all face-to-face meetings, and utilise remote/online working when required.
