My dog is very old and has a lot of needs but R K Adventures have looked after her on 3 occasions in July the last being for 10 days she wasn’t very well but they took her to the vets and got her sorted . All very professional with what I feared would be a challenging experience. My dog Ruby is a sweetheart with other dogs except in the house. However Antonia discussed this with me before we did a meet and greet. All went well, you can tell the love they have for dogs and how pleased to meet new dogs. Left Ruby with RK Adventures for just shy of 2 days, got constant updates on Ruby's wellbeing and no drama whatsoever. Ruby didn't even sulk when she got home, I think she enjoyed herself too! Antonia and Ryan really love the dogs. it was the first time using them with my 13 month old bernadoodle and was a little apprehensive but needn't have worried. He boarded for 2 nights and made friends with one of their dogs. Its been my first time using a pet sitter, all I can say is im glad I've booked them again for September. I had regular updates and photos of Lola which put me at ease instantly. Lola looked relaxed and happy, as if she had known them for years! Using a pet sitter ypu have that added worry of not only will your dog be OK, but your house too. After coming home from a weekend away, my house was clean and tidy the way it was left. I can not fault any part of the service received and will continue to use Antonia and Ryan when needed. Antonia and Ryan are really friendly, down to earth and fantastic with my 2 children Brian and Dave. They are attentive to them and really do go above and beyond to make sure that my dogs are happy, safe and stimulated when they are in their care. they also send pictures to me when I'm at work when they are doing activities with my dogs which really is a lovely touch and does tend to brighten up a very long shift at work. the pair are also really accommodating to support you with your dogs and schedule as much as possible More...

What do you love most about your job?
We love spending quality time with all our customers and like to get to understand their little behaviours and funny little quirks they may have. We love exploring the outdoor world with our customers and having fun making memories that last a lifetime.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There was a gap in the market for high quality animal care after covid-19 and we discovered this from when we were working and our dogs where in day-cares. We provide the home from home environment, where we like the dog to feel at home and use as home as their own.

No our services are provided face to face. The type of business we provide is offering customers high quality care care for their companion so we believe in getting to know your companions carer face to face is important to make that special connection easier.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
At our home we keep all the windows on the latches to provide adequate ventilation.
We carry hand sanitiser with us to each visit.
Puppy Visit
Visit clients home to engage and interact with the puppy and to provide stimulating activities.
Daycare
We provide full days, half days mornings and afternoons at our own home. This service allows dogs to interact with others and engage in stimulating activities.
1-2-1 Walks
Provide the 1-2-1 care.
Group Walks
Walk dog dogs in a group of 4.
Adventure Walks
Explore a variety of environments and these walks take place on either a morning or afternoon.
Vet Appointments
Take dog to vet if unable to take them.
Pick up and Drop off
Pick up and drop off available.
