Where to start??? Ridgeway is one hell of a venue that just blew us away with our vow renewal from the moment we booked right up until this morning Bill has been outstanding, from the minute that Rob picked us up in the gorgeous BMW we were somewhat made to be the most important people that have ever existed! Ally and Ollie are insanely good what they do making your special day special the staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had the most magical day! The caterers did a fab job! The food was absolutely fantastic and there was plenty of it that’s for sure! This venue is not only value for money it’s exceptional! And exceeded our expectations for sure! Wow wow wow!!!!! What can we say what an amazing day we had, everything was PERFECT, we laughed enough to have a stitch, we cried enough to fill the room, it was the best day of our lives, the ridgeway done such a good job in hosting and making everything extra perfect, anything we needed they were there, no question to big or to small. Gareth was fabulous every way, every question we had at or meetings even helped us pick our wacky music and loved our theam as soon as we told him, turned up early to collect myself ( even after getting lost twice 😉). Ally where to start was absolutely brilliant couldn't ask for a better day cordanater she made sure everything ran perfect told us everything we needed and what was happening next and kept the nerves at bay, even when the groom needed the loo she made sure he didn't see me. We then had Olli as our evening coordinator, he was fabulous kept the party going and it never stopped from making the father of the bride do some silly dancing to making everyone laugh and keeping in the party mood, everyone needs to have the party package it's amazing keeps everyone laughing, singing and dancing. Then there is rob omg he was one of a kind, couldn't have done the day without him he made us laugh so much that we couldn't stop.... took some amazing pictures, drove the groom to the venue making sure he wasn't late. He then partied with us until we couldn't party anymore. I can hardly put into words how amazing the whole team are at Ridgeway. We had our beautiful day on 26.09.24 and it was amazing! ! Everyone has been outstanding in all aspects. The team is worth their weight in gold and more. A few thank yous to give - to Bill for making booking the simplest thing and always on the end of the phone if I needed anything. Gareth, you are amazing at what you do and me and Leon are forever grateful to you and definitely a friend gained. Cheryl, the decore was absolutely beautiful thank you so much. You are amazing at what you do! Rob, thank you so much for picking us up, for endless assistance throughout the day, looking after me and Leon again another amazing person! Alli & Olli, all the organising, for the day and night, you both were outstanding, there was never a moment I was without a drink in my hand. You looked after us and gave us the 5* treatment. We had our special day on 25th September and it was fabulous, The team at Ridgeway are absolutely amazing, everything ran so smoothly & we were kept updated throughout the whole day of what would happen next. Now we have the time to sit back and write a post after a crazy couple of months, I can not recommend ridgeway enough, myself and my now wife was panicking over a year ago as there wasn’t many places that actually accepted same sex marriages, we was recommended Ridgeway Golf 4 All and my god was that the best place ever! !! Gareth from the very start was constantly answering questions we had and never missed a text and was always reassuring (we are over thinkers 😂) Ali was amazing making sure we had everything the day before the wedding ready and making sure that everyone was walking down the aisle at the correct time, Olly and Rob wow you know how to through a party!!! Always making sure we had a drink in our hands, the games was amazing!! And got everyone involved, Rob, he really couldn’t have done anymore for us, he’s the most friendliest person you’d come across, even went the extra mile of taking us home in the Mercedes so I had the wedding car ride feeling as mine kept breaking down (the car breaking down was not off of ridgeway) everyone made us feel so special. Last but not least Bill, the week before the wedding we had to contact bill and change our whole wedding with it being a week before we didn’t think this was possible but bill changed it last minute and made it work and we can not thank him enough. Mr & Mrs Brekke here, we got married on the 12th of September! and what a day we had, Gareth was on call all throughout the planning and helped with everything we needed and is such a lovely person! The day of the wedding Rob was amazing from the moment he picked us up to the moment he drove us home at the end of the night, he helped with the whole running of the day and helped both of us be as calm as we could and made it the most least stressful day we could of had! thank you so much, onto ally and ollie, they were absolutely amazing helped us throughout the day and they let us know exactly what was happening and when and made our day soo special with everything they did. Our wedding on the 31st of August, at The Ridgeway Golf Marquee was nothing short of spectacular! From the stunning views of the rolling greens to the elegant design of the marquee itself, this venue offers a beautiful blend of natural beauty and sophistication. We loved the grounds, which provided the perfect backdrop for our outdoor ceremony. The marquee was spacious, beautifully lit, and customizable to fit our wedding theme which we can thank ADU wedding and events for. It had the perfect mix of modern and traditional elements, creating an atmosphere that was both elegant and relaxed. The staff Gareth, Ally, Olly and Rob were amazing — warm, professional, and truly committed to making our day perfect. They handled everything with such care, ensuring that the day flowed smoothly and that we could focus on celebrating with our loved ones. Bill was particularly fantastic, helping us with every bit of panic, even on his holidays! The entire experience, from the initial planning stages to the final moments of our wedding, was seamless and enjoyable. I would 100% recommend the evening entertainment, our guests couldn’t stop speaking about how brilliant it was - the games and the laughter completed our day. Well where do we start? would we recommend the ridgeway? absolutely 100%, from the first time we came to an open day we knew this was the right venue for us. little did we know how helpful the staff would be, from the start gareth was there to answer any questions thrown at him and there were a fair few, on our final wedding meet before the big day myself and my husband belly laughed all the way through, he made us feel so at ease. when it came to the big day Rob came to pick me up I didn't get chance to feel nervous as he was so chatty and relaxed which obviously any bride would need that. Then onto oli, what a fantastic young lad, he was absolutely amazing, so good at his job between him and Rob we knew exactly what the next move was, they kept us informed on everything, even our guests were made to feel welcomed and comfortable, our glasses where never empty. Gareth was busy with other commitments on our wedding day but still found time to come and see how we were, which we appreciated. Ali took over from oli and she carried on keeping us in the know along side Rob all the staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. all of our guests said how perfect everything was, the venue looked absolutely gorgeous, the food and evening buffet was stunning also the entertainment was excellent, lots more belly laughs from everyone that night so if you are thinking of having the perfect day I'd definitely book here! My husband and I got married at ridgeway on the 7th of August and WOW, what a beautiful place and wonderful staff! Where do I start? Gareth, he was amazing from start to finish to every little question I had was answered or dealt with! Allyson was amazing and looked after us for the morning of the wedding! Everything went smoothly, stress free and was so relaxed! Nothing was effort for Allyson. She made sure we were okay and had a drink to hand. Ollie looked after us for the evening. What can I say…he had everyone on the dance floor the whole evening! The dance floor always had someone on it (myself and Jordan didn’t stop dancing all evening) Ollie also was amazing and made our evening stress free with all the communication, making sure that we were made aware of each step of the evening. Ollie made sure we were relaxed and took care of everything so we could enjoy the night. Rob, Rob picked myself and my dad up from the apartment and from start to finish he made me so relaxed, went through all the process in the morning from what happens to making sure I had tissues every time I cried. Rob was there from start to finish and even joined us on the dance floor, having competition with one of my evening guests who could do the splits the best 😂 Everyone at ridgeway is lovely from management to bar staff! Bill was always available whenever I had a question or even when I had to sort allergies out for guests! So easy to speak with and very welcoming! Me and my husband got married here on the 8th of August! We had a fabulous day, I can’t recommend this venue enough And the staff were all phenomenal. Our main point of contact was Gareth and he had gone above and beyond for us and made sure we got everything exactly how we wanted and even accomadated last minute changes for us, we met Alison and Ollie on the day of our wedding and they were so friendly and helpful and made sure the day went smoothly, We also met Rob on the day of and from the moment he picked me up from my home til the moment he dropped us off at the hotel he was fantastic and made us feel completely at ease, he also makes the evening great with the evening entertainment and his dancing. The venue was dressed amazingly! We upgraded our package and added on the finnishing touches package which I am so so glad that we did as the decoration made the venue look stunning ofcourse it is absolutely beautiful as it but so much more gorgeous with the upgrade and for all that we got with the package it is so worth it! Plus Cheryl the lady who decorates the venue with the finishing touches package is so friendly and is exceptional with detail and will go above and beyond to make sure the venue looks unreal. So many of my guests came up to us to tell us it was the best wedding they had attended. The Entertainment in the evening was so funny I have not seen that at another wedding which I think is cool to have something different, We were going to book a magician or a Caricaturist how ever this is definitely not required and I am glad I didn’t fork out extra money for this as the guests my husband and myself were entertained more than enough. the bar staff and waiters were lovely and extremely friendly and also deserve a mention for there service. I just want to say a massive thank you to the whole team at the ridgeway! Your all fantastic and I appreciate how brilliant you made our special day 🤍✨ P.s for those that are worried about the weather …don’t! our whole day it was pouring down, Yet it didn’t effect us in the slightest the day still ran perfectly! We still got every single one of our photos, there is so many different backgrounds in this venue that me and my husband didn’t even feel as if we missed out by not going outside! We stayed nice and dry indoors the whole day, And everyone told us of the superstirion that rain on your wedding day is good luck! What an amazing wedding day myself and my husband had here yesterday, everything went to plan and run so smoothly, I can’t thank the amazing team enough for all they did for us yesterday, nothing was too much of an ask and were always checking in with us. Rob was my first point of contact in the morning, he arrived early and patiently waited for me to get ready, he was so professional and knew exactly what to say and do, nothing was too much trouble and he even entertained the dance floor by dropping out some killer moves 🕺 Ollie and Gareth made me feel so at ease that everything was set up to how I had imagined it, so accommodating to all my requests and unforeseen last minute alterations. Again extremely professional, I could always here Ollie checking in on guests and making sure they were all happy 🥰 The lovely allyson, took over for our evening celebrations, all our music requests were double checked to make sure they were the correct version, she thoroughly entertained all our guests and got everyone up on the dance floor with the tracks. A big shout out to the caterers, food was delicious and so many guests commented on how nice their meal was. My husband was well impressed with the evening buffet and portion sizes. Bill you have a beautiful venue and an amazing team on board who did you so proud on Sunday, again thank you to everyone who made our day so special, it was just a shame it had to end. Me and my husband got married here on the 3/8/24 it was the most amazing day and evening we could of asked for everybody went above and beyond for us nothing was too much to ask for! ! The bar staff was absolutely amazing so friendly and helpful always had a smile on there faces 🙂 Rob what an amazing guy he was literally my fairy god mother from the time I met him he was my right hand man what ever I needed he had!! Hi Ridgeway, Mr and Mrs Johnson here. We got married on Saturday 27th July and to say impressed is an understatement! From our first meeting with Gareth and many more after hehe, it was a joy to have him looking after us. I would like to thank Paul for driving me and my stepdad to the venue he was very friendly and made me feel at ease. Gareth and his dad absolutely loved the Porsche, and Rob was an absolute pleasure to have driving them to the venue. He of course was absolutely fantastic through out the whole day and made us both laugh especially when we went out on the golf buggy for some scenic photos. It was so much fun. I may have enjoyed it a bit too much but of course that’s what it’s all about. Alison was absolutely amazing from the time that I arrived before going down the aisle. She really helped settle the nerves as she could see that I was nervous. We also want to say how fab she was with us at checking in on us and ensuring the day was running smoothly and that we were happy with everything. The food was delicious and our guests also shared their appreciation during the day. We want to give a big shout out to the bar and catering staff who served everyone, we thought they were exceptionally good at ensuring everyone had what they asked for and so much more. On that note we want to say a massive thank you for going above and beyond with those who had special requirements, we fully appreciate it. The entertainment was absolutely class Rob and Ollie sure know how to get a party started and getting everyone involved . We had family and friends coming up to us saying how much they thoroughly enjoyed it and had an absolute blast . Ollie was also amazing at ensuring that we and everyone one else were ok and that we were having a great time . The magic mirror was definitely a fantastic idea which was used by very much everyone and we of course have enjoyed having a few giggles at photos in our guest book. What we loved about it was that family and friends were also able to take a photo home and that Rob signed the photo of us on the behalf of ridgeway . We feel like we’ve gained an extended family and would highly recommend this venue for anyone who is looking to get married here. If we were to do it all again we would choose Ridgeway every time. We got married at Ridgeway yesterday (28.07.24) and honestly it was the best day of our lives. Everyone has commented on how amazing their day was. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything was perfect and that we were looked after all day - we were never without a drink! We could not have wished for a better venue. Through the planning process. Gareth was amazing and made sure that everything was the way that I wanted it to be and has been a dream to speak to. We have definitely made friends! Alison was amazing during the day and made sure we were looked after and everything ran how we wanted it to. Same with the evening, Ollie was fantastic always checking in to see if we were ok. Me and my husband got married on the 18th July and honestly it was the best day of our lives, Ridgeway went out of there way to make sure that everything was perfect for us and we could not be more thankful for everyone that help organise the wedding with us. Gareth went way beyond to make sure that everything was the way that I wanted it to be even though I’m sure that I was annoying at times by asking stupid question but you always put my mind at ease. You made us feel like a friend was planning our wedding and always knew how to keep us calm if we were getting stressed. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. We also want to thank Ollie for all the support on the day of the wedding and making sure everything was set out perfect for us. Thank you for make sure that the day ran smoothly by talking us through how the day would be ran. Alison thank you for making sure that the evening was how we wanted it to be, even when we went a little bit of course with how you do the cake and cut it a bit earlier than you normally do. Thank you for getting everyone involved in the evening and getting everyone up dancing. From the day we booked to the day of the wedding the team at ridgeway golf club was amazing.,nothing is too much trouble for them. they are simply the best. alison you were a delight to the wedding day and planning, Gareth your were easy to talk to and answered any questions we had. rob your are 100% crazy and made us laugh from booking and on the day picking me and my son up in the car. and entertaining with the night party. ollie you made us feel at ease from the meeting we had and last night on the mic from the mr and mrs game your song choices and sence of humour. food was amazing day and night. bar staff and security were outstanding. nothing was ever to much trouble for the venue. they set up everything and looked after us all day amd night and out family and close friends. me and my husband were not left with an empty glass al day ,and jept us informed of everything day and night. I don’t even know where to begin .. From the first day visiting the ridgeway to the actual day was absolutely perfect You have such a great team of people who really make it extra special. Always there to answer and questions or queries and nothing is too much trouble. The lead up to the day was great as I could relax In knowing that every thing was sorted And the most magical day of our lives was in good hands. The day it’s self was absolutely more then we could have even dreamt of. Gareth was always at hand for any thing I needed and really made the morning of the wedding for me I was lucky enough for him to pick me up in the morning and he really made me feel special and at ease as the nerves kicked in, he was completely sympathetic to how I was feeling all the excitement and nerves and he just took it all in his stride. Also making the day how we wanted it with last minute changes and it was never an issue. Oh and Ollie was absolutely brilliant he really made the day go off with a bang .. he knows how to make that dress flow before walking down the aisle, he also made us both feel at ease made us laugh and just really helped with all the planning during the day thank you so much Rob, well what can I say the man that does it all from settling nerves to doing the splits and everything in between, you are man of the moment truly fantastic!! Man of many talents Allison was amazing at the evening, she allowed us to have it our way and all of our guest had a fantastic time because of this Everyone has said that it’s the best wedding they have been to. From the moment of booking everything is made so clear, Gareth is always there for any questions we always felt at ease and in safe hands with the team. The day itself was absolutely amazing! Rob was a massive highlight of our day always making everyone laugh from the moment he picked the bride up to dancing on the dance floor at midnight, even going above and beyond and making sure we was safely in our hotel room. Well what can we say. The day from start to finish was fantastic, Gareth made everything so easy for us from regular meetings to setting the place up perfectly. The venue was spectacular it was set up to perfection, The sunset wedding package was totally amazing . Rob from the moment you picked me and my daughter and granddaughter up in the wedding car, I dont remember a time where I wasnt laughing. Well what can we say. The day from start to finish was fantastic, but that doesn't do credit for this place. The organisation and commitment they have shown us from the day we booked has been phenomenal. They have made everything so easy for us from regular meetings to setting the place up perfectly as we had hoped. Any tweeks we requested were done immediately and without fuss. So with myself being very OCD my biggest fear was that it wouldnt be set up how I had imagined. So after putting a folder together because YES, I am that much of a control freak, Charlotte you nailed it and it was so much better than I could of ever imagined it was perfect. Our dream day. Allison, you was so attentive throughout the day, you seriously couldn't do enough for us, you was constantly checking on everything and us and making sure our day was going perfectly, which it was and did. we had our day at the ridgeway on the 29th june.. and it was honestly the best day of my life!! it was like someone took the image I had in my mind, and turned it into reality. .. the whole team made it perfect from start to finish... Gareth who answered any questions and calmed any worries, made planning the day so much easier... Bill with his calm, professional manor, put my mind at ease every step of the way, with a quick call.. Paul who drove myself, my dad and grampy to the venue, was so friendly, chatting and making us laugh all the way, which calmed any nerves massively... Ollie, who talked to myself and Ian through the process of the day, and made sure we had time to collect ourselves after the ceremony, made the whole experience so enjoyable... and a lot less overwhelming... Alison checked in on me, every time she found me looking a bit lost, making sure I didn't want or need anything at any time throughout the day, and if I did, there was nothing that was too much trouble.. then there's Rob, mentioned last, but certainly not least, was so much fun, keeping me hydrated and making sure I was on top form start to finish... I'm sorry I didn't catch the names of the girls at the bars, but the service they provided was also amazing.. We used Flashback photography to capture our day, Sam and Stacey were absolutely amazing!! All of our guests said how fab they both were and they worked so hard to get all of the group pictures we requested!! They were so professional and friendly, they made myself and Ian feel so comfortable, and he's not a posing for photos kinda guy, so it means a lot that they were so kind and patient with us!! We can't thank them both enough and can't wait to see the end results!! We couldn't of picked a place for our wedding. from the moment we booked, right up until our special day we were looked after by the wonderful Gareth. Gareth was always there when I had a million silly questions to ask, made us feel welcome and comfortable at every meeting. Wow!! I really don’t know where to start when I talk about ridgeway golf club! Me and my husband got married here on the 23rd June 2024 and it was perfection from start to finish! Me and my husband got married here on Saturday and honestly I can’t put into words how amazing all the staff are! Rob and Paul our drivers were absolutely amazing and Rob took care of me and my husband and made sure we were laughing! We celebrated our wedding at Ridgeway on 23rd May and it was absolutely perfect ❤️ From our initial viewing, booking the venue with Bill until after the big day, all the team went above and beyond. The venue itself is beautiful, a gorgeous view of the grounds during our ceremony and the food was delicious. Gareth was extremely professional, always on hand to answer our crazy questions, making us feel relaxed and he co-ordinated our wedding to perfection. His attention to detail is impeccable. Rob was very attentive from the moment he picked us up, gave the bride a sambucca shot for some dutch courage, driving the golf buggy, assisting our photographer, managing the magic mirror and so much more! He went above and beyond on the day, guiding both of us on the order of events and checking we were both ok throughout. Allyson made sure every detail was exactly how we wanted it throughout the day and kept the day running so smoothly. She made sure neither of us was ever without a drink and truly made us feel that we were in safe hands. We heard that Ridgeway's entertainment was worth the wait and Ollie did not disappoint! Well where do I start. We celebrated our wedding here on Thu and were blown away by the attentiveness of the staff. They truly went above and beyond with the attention to detail and talked us through what would happen on the day step by step. You feel totally at ease in their hands. They are the perfect hosts. There aren’t enough words to describe how fantastic this place is. I had my reservations when we first booked, not believing all the reviews but i was proven wrong a million times over. From Rob calming my nerves, saving me from a disaster when I’d left my bouquet at home and ensuring everyone was having a good time- even the 100s of photos our nieces were taking on the magic mirror. Ollie was outstanding in the day, so helpful and attentive and a joy to have around. Ali in the evening got everyone up and moving, we were apprehensive over the evening entertainment initially but we are SO glad we did it as so many have commented how great it was at the wedding and we had a blast! Gareth was always on hand for questions and worries prior to the wedding and on the day, even though I felt a bit bridezilla he was always patient and got me the answersI needed. I really don’t know where to start…. Me and my husband had the most amazing day! All the staff were so thoughtful, helpful, calming and also our biggest support for the day from start to finish nothing was too much (even down to scrubbing mud off my dress “rob”) nothing was going to ruin our day with Ali, Olly, Rob, Gareth and the rest of the team around. From before, during and after the whole team couldn’t help enough… Ourselves and every guest that attended did not want the day to end, we have had phone calls off most saying how amazing the day and night were and how much fun they had especially with the provided evening entertainment! Myself and my husband just want to rewind and do it all over again we had the most perfect day and couldn’t recommend Ridgeways’s enough! They are amazing! We used the finishing touches and photography package also which included cars we would definitely recommend with both Gareth and Rob being our shofars for our big day and keeping our nerves at bay throughout… I would also like to thank Cheryl for all the finishing touches for our special day everything looked exactly how we had envisioned just perfect! I can’t put it into words how amazing the whole team at ridgeway are, from the first meting with them they make you feel comfortable and special, Gareth is just lush and you feel he is a friend from the first time you meet him, he makes you feel at ease and that nothing is to much trouble, Cheryl decorated the venue just like u had visioned it in my head so stunning and the attention to detail was above and beyond, rob, Ollie and Ali were just amazing they kept everyone entertained, happy and nothing was to much for them, from getting us drinks and keeping the entertainment going all nite to keeping me and my dad clam in the car and just before we walked down the aisle, the food was delicious too, just the best day ever and that’s was down to the team at ridgeway we can’t thank you enough, how perfect you made our day. First of all I need to begin by saying how amazing Gareth is, from the first meeting he put me at ease and was like a friend always on the other end of the phone for my silly / stressful messages. Rob was an absolute legend, from the moment i got into the car with him i knew he would have everyone laughing all night (especially his bad dancing). Ollie & Ally are perfect, always made sure our drinks were topped up and keeping us informed of what would happen next so we didn’t have to worry about anything. We just had a party at the Ridgeway for my husband’s 50th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make sure his evening was perfect. They set up in an amazing way which looked like we were having our wedding all over again rather than a party. No request of ours was too big or too small for them to achieve. They got everybody involved and up and dancing. Rob and Ollie were amazing always keeping me informed on what was about to happen next and always checking to see if I was okay because they knew I was stressed out to the maximum and always made me feel better with their little one liners. I would highly recommend the Ridgeway for parties weddings or whatever you need because they cater to you and always make sure you have the best time.
