After many years, debating about doing something with our drive and garden we took the plunge and spoke to a number of companies each offering something different. I had heard of resin bound drives but didn’t know much about them but it looked like the solution we wanted.Some of the other companies we approached were very pushy, some didn’t even show up or respond and some were almost twice the price of the final price we got from Rezitt for a solution we were clear we didn’t want.Kieran from Rezitt answered my call promptly and came to visit us equally promptly. He listened to our requirements and gave us advice on the pros and cons of the various types of materials.Clearly, his company specialise in Resin Bound drives but they do offer other alternatives and Kieran did not try to push us down any particular pathway.He measured up, discussed various options with me and promptly sent an indicative cost subject to further discussion and refinement.Kieran gave us a program of works and approximate time scale for what was a fairly large job. He explained all of the processes involved so we were clear what was going to happen.His guys arrived promptly and introduced themselves and told us what they were going to start with. They had everything they needed with them and they worked at an unbelievable pace.The two main guys on site, Andy and Alex, were an absolute pleasure to have here. I’ve worked with many contractors over the years and many were sullen and rude but these guys always showed respect and said please and thank you at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for them and slight modifications were handled smoothly and easily. If they saw a better way of doing something they would suggest it but not try to impose it on us.I will never know how they kept up their punishing works schedule while at the same time I could not find a single thing to fault them on in terms of quality.I never once had to pick them up on anything they did or said. They were always good humoured friendly and showed respect to our neighbours.Throughout the entire process, Kieran was attentive and always made sure we were happy. The contract was clear and the terms were very fair as was the price.We can wholeheartedly recommend Rezitt as a company and as individuals and we would have absolutely no hesitation in using them again.We have in fact recommended them to a number of friends and work colleagues.The driveway is an absolute dream surface (so far) and it looks fabulous. The choice of colours and options available are almost bewildering. Great service, great product and professional friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this company when looking at having your driveway/gardens upgraded or redone. I was only really testing the water when I rang for a quote, but after meeting Ian and hearing all about the product, I decided to go ahead. Rarely do tradesmen turn up on time, but they were at my house ready to go. They kept the work area as clean as they could considering the amount of soil they had to move and the disruption to a minimum. We’re very happy with our new resin driveway; although we had some problems caused by the slight increase in the gradient, Kieran and his team were really helpful and came back three times to try different solutions, and thankfully it now seems to be sorted :0) We were also unlucky in that an animal wandered over the wet resin, leaving prints, but Kieran has said he’ll fill those in for us too, so the job looks perfect. I've awarded 5 stars as the drive looks great, the Rezitt team seemed genuinely keen to do the best job they could and were a nice bunch of people, and the job was competitively priced. More...
