About

Rae Dillon is a captivating speaker who draws on her experience as a well-travelled wordsmith, former teacher (both in the UK and abroad), and member of the LGBTQ+ community.

She knows how difficult it can be to maintain your sense of identify when having to hide who you really are from the people around you.

I had the pleasure of attending Rae's talk, The Impact of Language, and I was really impressed by her ability to highlight the profound connection between language, perception, and culture. With clarity and passion, Rae makes the compelling case that the words we use don’t just describe the world around us; they shape it.

Her SWAY model provides a structured and insightful approach to reflecting on how our language influences the way people think, act, and interact. Through engaging storytelling and real-life examples, Rae brings these concepts to life, making them both relatable and actionable.

Her closing message is particularly powerful: "When one person sways, no one notices; when everyone sways together, we create change. Together, we can change culture." It’s an inspiring call to action.

Rae is a thought-provoking speaker who blends intellect with empathy, leaving you not just informed but motivated to rethink the way you use language in your own life and organisation. I highly recommend her talk to anyone interested in communication, leadership, and cultural transformation.

I recently met with Rae and I was very taken by her professionalism and ability to hold the audience attention when she spoke publicly. What really struck me more than anything was how authentic Rae is, and how this authenticity really demonstrated how comfortable she is in her own space and the authority she holds when addressing large audences. I would love to hear Rae speak again. More...

Q&As

I love helping other people understand that whatever they're going through, it will all work out in the end. Because if it hasn't worked out yet, it's not the end.

I'd wanted to start my own business for years, but was never in the right place to. After everything I experienced during the pandemic, I had the push I needed to take the leap, and I'm so glad I did.

I work with you to develop a bespoke talk that ensures your audience leaves with something tangible they can take away and implement.

Yes, I'm happy to work remotely, although speaking in person always has more of an impact.
