I would not recommend Gurpreet or this company (Safety Removals) for any removal job. It was my first time using this company and I did not get a good impression at all.

Gurpreet confirmed with me that he would pick me up at my location at 8 am. He did not arrive until 08:37. I had to contact him to find out where he was because he did not contact me to let me know that he was running late. His excuse was that he could not call when driving, but he could have pulled over or found a way to communicate that his ETA had changed. When I spoke to him about his late arrival, he did not apologise.

The drive to the storage unit (which is where we were going) was uncomfortable.

When Gurpreet saw the items in the storage unit he said that the job would be about an hour and a half, it was nowhere near an hour and half, more like 35 minutes, so he overestimated how long the job would be and then tried to say that it would have been an hour and a half if they stacked the boxes as I was suggesting, which was completely untrue; I merely suggested to not stack some of the heavier boxes on the more fragile ones to avoid boxes breaking underneath, which I think is reasonable, but I could tell that they didn't really care about how they were stacking the boxes. Gurpreet also said that we were at the first storage unit for 1 hours and 10 minutes, which was incorrect, we were there for approximately 40 minutes, no more that 45, so, I was a bit concerned when he said that.

I don’t feel a great amount of thought or care went into the job; I was often nervous about how they were stacking boxes and putting items back in the storage unit.

I did not get service with a smile, and Gurpreet did not make me feel at ease.

There was some confusion about my drop off location, and because they had done 3 hours (which is what I budgeted for) Gurpreet wouldn’t take me to my end location which was about 10 minutes down the road. Gurpreet also tried to argue with me telling me what I agreed to but couldn’t show me any evidence to back up what he was saying.

I needed to move a few boxes/bags from one unit to another (which was within the 3-hour timeframe) and Gurpreet suggested that was an extra job (after he had done it and I was to make a payment) and that that was not part of what was agreed, which confused me because it was a case of moving things from one storage unit to another (which was on the same floor) and took about 5 minutes to do, so, I really don't feel that they went above and beyond to help me. This company does not transmit good customer service.

Overall, this was a negative experience. I do not recommend them and would not use them again. The service is very basic, and poor. More...

Hi Natelle Thanks for your review. Just want to ask did someone ask for more money which you agreed. And did you agreed with us to drop back to your home. As we are not allowed to pickup customers from home and drop up back we help you as a friend to pick you up from your house even the storage unit was 45 minutes away from your house. We always directly go to the loading location and then go to the destination where we have to drop the stuff. But we picked you up from your house and take you 45 minutes away from where we have to pickup the stuff. And about the stack of boxes we know how to stack boxes we are fully experienced in that so, if we do in that way which you said we cant finish that job in 5 hours as well. We will give you a example of you as there was a box of bookes that box was not totally not able to take it because that was in not that condition you siad take only one one bookes even when we ask to put that bookes in other empty box you didn’t allow us. We take all book separately as it was first floor. And about our agreed price i will share our agreement for payment which you changed one day before even in night time. And we also agreed on you that if you are Changing price on time that not fair but we didnt ask for more. Now would like to share our chat which we discuss first i will share screen shots if you want. Even we ask for extra money. Even we stacked all boxes in good manner Also we picked you up from your house And we did extra storage unit empty for you free of cost we didn’t charge you for that storage.

Possibly one the best in the market.
