Taras decorated a bedroom for us... Done plastering in damage walls, and then painted walls, woodwork and ceiling. He not only did a great job on the room, but he got on with it quickly and quietly, and cleared up after himself carefully. Taras was extremely thorough, professional, punctual, and communicative. His work was to a very high standard, and he made sure to give me good advice while keeping me informed throughout the week-long refurb. His work was excellent, and the 2 men he brought in to paint the flat were extremely friendly, and also delivered good work. Not only did he perform his contracted tasks to a good standard, he also assisted the owner of a neighbouring flat in dealing with a plumbing issue; this wasn't his responsibility, but he helped them sort out their issue satisfactorily nonetheless. This is my first ever home in life and Taras has delivered the perfect job. I am a very demanding individual when it comes to big things in life like decorating my home. Taras was not the first builder I reached out to but I immediately gave him the job not only because he offers a better quote but he was able to explain to me in more details and reassurance than anyone else did. He speaks good enough english but not the best, yet communication to him does not lie merely in the clarity of language but in his effort. He would list out instructions clearly and update me every step of the way and often more than I expected, making sure I am happy with every decision on the way from small things about the minor colour difference of the skirting to larger structural problems we might encounter. Taras is polite, and every time I walk though the door to check on them (which is often) they are working hard. Above all, he is a problem solver, he does not offer me the first solution that comes to mind but would discuss at length the pros and cons of each method before asking for my consent to do so, even if it means extra work. Taras did the flooring and re-painting of the walls perfectly, grouting, installation of any items I requested him to do so from smart doorbells to more challenging items. Unfortunately I am not at that stage in life where friends around me would have their first home, but to write this honest account for him is the best I could do. All the best to Taras. More...
