The company charged me extra for a fast turnaround that they didn’t deliver. The cover letter and LinkedIn profile were generic, their CV contained untruths about my experience that I never stated and the CV they supplied was almost identical to the one I started with!

The writer's are absolutely lovely and great at making you look good on paper, meeting ATS and other corporate requirements. Great layout with a lot of information, and key points do stand out. In an interview I needed the gift of the gab to support such a grand CV so the writers and I altered it to be a bit to suit my personality and employment. The service from Purple CV from the outset was superb. I opted for the CV and LinkedIn package. First up the website forms and process are easy to navigate and complete. I then had contact with admin who collated some information from me. I was assigned an excellent copywriter (Em) who asked some more questions to really get the best out of me. I felt like I had a few skill gaps but she did an excellent job accentuating what I had and making my experience meaningful. Whilst in the process, I was recommended for a job and I wanted to apply. I shared the job spec with the copywriter and she came back overnight with CV updates and a covering letter tailored to the role. This got me through the application process and an HR screening (still in the application process at time of writing). I think we went through maybe 3-4 rounds of edits and iterations to get to my ‘final’ CV which I am very happy with - along with the LinkedIn copy pack - the content which was of course consistent with the CV but tailored to the platform. I paid for a full service of a CV, Cover Letter and LinkedIn profile. Initially the writer they gave me was not suited to me. I was chasing her rather than having an update within the specified 2 days and it was getting frustrating. However, when they reassigned me to Tuli after the second time of reaching out in my frustration, I felt like Tuli was the gift I had been searching for!! Tuli kept me updated throughout the process and spoke the words that I wish that I could have articulated into my CV and cover letter. The difference with Tuli and the original writer is that Tuli wanted to know me and my passion; and then honed into that within writing. Thank you Tuli for making me feel seen... After months of no success with finding a new job I decided to invest and paid to have my cv, cover letter and LinkedIn profile updated. The process itself was fine (although I'm not sure as my field is niche whether they really knew much about the kind of roles I would apply for).
