What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about being a "Man with a Van" is the variety and unpredictability of each day. Every job is different, whether I'm helping someone move into a new home, transporting furniture for a business, or assisting with a special delivery. It keeps things exciting and gives me a sense of purpose, knowing that I’m helping people with important transitions in their lives.
The physical nature of the work is another thing I enjoy. It’s hands-on, and I love the sense of accomplishment I get after completing a job—whether it’s carefully packing up a customer’s belongings or ensuring everything arrives in perfect condition.
I also appreciate the personal connections I make with customers. Every interaction is unique, and I enjoy being able to provide a friendly and professional service that eases the stress of moving or transporting items. Over time, I’ve built a reputation for reliability, and that’s something I take pride in.
Finally, the independence that comes with the job is a big plus. I get to set my own schedule, manage my workload, and be my own boss. It’s a great balance of hard work, freedom, and the satisfaction of providing a valuable service to people in need.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had always been drawn to the idea of running my own business, and I saw an opportunity in the moving and transport industry. I knew there was a demand for reliable, friendly, and efficient services, and I wanted to provide that to customers who might be stressed or overwhelmed by the logistics of moving. The satisfaction of helping people in a practical, hands-on way is something I’ve always found fulfilling.
