Just the constant calls entirely put me off wanting to get any work done. I’m sure the workmen are great at what they do, I see wonderful reviews but the sales is too full on. I was more than happy to take a leaflet and provide details at the point of contact because it is work I need doing in the future but I fed back initially that it’s quite far down the list of work that needs doing to my home, so I just wanted a rough idea of how much to save for the future. I eventually ended up blocking one number because it was too much and then the no caller ID calls started which I can’t block. It’s just really off-putting and the man I spoke to immediately got moody when I said I was no longer interested. I understand that sales have to take place, I work in marketing, but when it gets to 3+ calls every single day, some in the evening but mostly when I’m at work and cannot answer, it just feels overbearing. It’s 2pm the day after I have already told them (again) that I am not interested and so far I have received three calls. If this continues I will be reporting to the ICO. More...

Work was generally ok they had to come back several times as they kept getting the measurements wrong for one window. Very poor customer service afterwards, rang up several times in the past year to get my certificates however they have never sorted it, they wont put you through to someone that can help or even call you back when asked to.

A cold caller from Prestige knocked on the door yesterday, and I stupidly said we would have a free survey done. We were honest in that i had said it was only something we might have done in the future, but no immediate plans. The salesman came around, and was a nice enough guy. Seemed a bit miffed that we were only interested as a future project, and not something we would sign up for now. Tried the usual techniques that we’ve all seen on Watchdog over the years, regarding reducing the price if we signed up now etc. Then this morning I’ve had the phone calls from a no caller ID number. The person at the other end pretended to be enquiring as to how the meeting went, as he apparently didn’t know. Well the quote I was left is now going straight in the bin. On the 27th May 2025 2 men banged on my door and also rang my doorbell, I opened it and saw they were holding leaflets. I have a sign saying NO COLD CALLERS, they insisted I needed work doing although they could quite clearly see that I didn’t. I’m an elderly, vulnerable person and found them very intimidating to say the least and I had a job to get rid of them off my drive. I have a door bell, but the chap with the leaflets knocked the letterbox very aggressively. I also have a sticker on the door saying no cold callers. He insisted on trying to get me to commit to seeing someone and kept asking if i was replacing windows in the next 6 months. Said he was the manager and that they were very cheap when told I was going to get quotes myself. He was very insistent on trying to get an answer from me. Came across as desperate. We recently had all of the windows in our house replaced by Prestige Midlands. The work was done efficiently; 14 windows fit in 2 days! Sales Rep was friendly and there wasn't any pressure for us to make a deal. All in all I think the turnaround was just under a month and a half, which was impressive in comparison to other work we've had carried out. We did have external render and they did patch up where needed. It is a different colour, but it's fully cosmetic and we did have specialist render applied prior to the windows being done. I have never asked for a quote from this company yet for 2 years now they are calling me on a private number at 8pm on the evening. The best one was 9pm on a Sunday! This is a breach of gdpr.
