My family dealt with Simon the director from premium blinds he is the rudest person we have ever encountered the whole service was disgusting the service was extremely poor and we would never recommend this company to anyone!

So pleased with the service received from start to finish. Right from the first measure, everything was explained clearly and my expectations were managed as to how long the shutters would take to be delivered. We bought and extended our home nearly 10 years ago. We always planned to get blinds but since our home backs onto a field with little foot traffic, it didn’t feel like a priority. However, everything changed when we hired Emma Holmes as our Interior Designer. She recommended Premium Blinds as part of the process. Although they were based further away than some of the local companies, their quality products, expertise, and friendly service convinced us to give them a try—and we’re glad we did! Premium Blinds offer a great range of materials and options, and their service has been excellent. They delivered on time and have provided great support. When we had some difficulty syncing the blinds with the Somfy app, they returned promptly and resolved the issue quickly for us. Now that we have the electric blinds installed, including the skylight lantern blind, we’ve noticed that they help retain heat in the house - we wish we’d done it sooner. I have held off writing this experience because I waited for the matter to reach full conclusion. I chose this company because I wanted to support local business but now I wish I didn’t. I ordered two window blinds and two door blinds, I had to wait about 8 weeks for them to arrive, Initially all seemed ok but one of the blinds distorted after a time. I contacted the showroom but after a week I had heard nothing back, eventually someone came out to look at them and it was concluded that they would have to be remade, ok I thought these things happen. After another 4/5 weeks the replacement arrived, this replacement didn’t even last 2 hours before the same issue reoccurred, I contacted the fitter the next day who informed me they would inform the office on the Monday. As it turned out I eventually found out that only a passing mention was made and no one contacted me so had to chase, with every phone call made there was always the excuse some one was on holiday or that a specific person had to deal with the issue was not there, the defect was not getting resolved. Eventually initially I did get into a conversation with the showroom and was going to let them send them back again to the manufacturer (another 5 week wait) but on advice from my credit card I said I wanted to return them for a refund where upon I was told to return them and they hung up. I returned them and was told the director would call when he returned from holiday to sort the refund, I received this call and he seemed unaware of the previous conversation where I was told to return them for a refund, I had to inform him of my rights as he felt these blinds were custom made my rights were different, it was even pointed out that only one blind was at issue so why did I need to return them all, I had to point out would you have different curtains in the same room, I was promised a call back but sadly I did not receive it. I had to then put the matter into the hands of the credit card, this comprised of two parts because of the time that elapsed, the card company upheld my claim and I have been refunded now but premium blinds even tried to dispute the amount of the claim but fortunately the card company was not having any of it because my receipt showed the amounts and the debit on the card tallied with the receipt. So what is my take away from this, poor communication and a lack of customer respect and service and would certainly not recommend them. My nan Eileen Walsh had her conservatory blinds done in her home. Roddy came first and did the quote he was very professional and very thorough in what he done. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone that want a stressfree job. I ordered our shutters and venetian in May 2024 and was told it will take 6 to 8 weeks after 10 weeks i called the for update and I was told there was a delay and it will be fitted soon but instead a fitting date was booked without my knowledge. I only called for update on when the job can be done and was told that a fitting date has been booked. Unfortunately I won't be home on that date as I wasn't aware of any fitting date so a new fitting date was booked. When the fitter came, 1 of the shutters wasn't the accurate measurements and we were told it will have to be ordered and it will take another 4 weeks to be delivered before it can be fitted. The job was eventually completed after 4 months of back to back communication. This company has no customer service and very poor communication. I will definitely not recommend anyone I know to this company. They never respond to customer complaints. More...

Love my blinds, they look amazing. Installation was flawless, the workmen did a great job. Would have given 5 stars but the follow up after ordering the blinds let them down. I had to track and call several times to question the delay which wasn't their fault. If I'd received calls updating me at each step the review would have been 5 stars. Fitted blinds was measured incorrectly so half of the blinds was the wrong size. Had to wait another month (after the original 10 weeks) for the correct size to be installed and was charged full price despite the delay and inconvenience. Blinds look great but customer service is lacking. Was going to use them to do the whole house in Shutters but found a company who will do it for a 3rd of the price. More...
