PITA Construction Consultants resource any project with a minimum of two surveyors, Peter Ficken a director and either Andrew Venn or Sandie Gillies, all experienced senior surveyors, to maintain continuity. These would be supported by others, as necessary for the project nature, scale and programme.

PITA Construction Consultants’ duties would commence with the initial appraisal and review of the Brief to enable an accurate cost plan to be prepared against an approved scheme design as part of the feasibility study so that the entire package can be approved by our Clients. Amendments to the approved brief ( pre or post contract ) would be reviewed and significant amendments – financial or programme could be formally approved under a Client Approval system.
PITA Construction Consultants would ensure that variations to the work are accurately reported to Clients and that the final account would be agreed with the contractor at the earliest opportunity, with the Client aware of and accepting the agreement.
A SELECTION OF OUR
RESIDENTIAL REFURBISHMENT EXPERIENCE
PCC were approached by the Interior Designers, Studio Clement, to act as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to deliver the conversion and refurbishment of a former industrial unit into a high end 10,000 sf home for its owner.
The works involved the complete refurbishment including replacement roofs and floor structures together with the incorporation of two car pits within the lower level. The completed property included bedroom suites, TV / Media room, Gym, Gin Still, Man Den, wine stores, safe room as well as kitchen and dining areas and a home study / library.
Having successfully worked with the client’s brother and parents on their new homes, the client approached PCC to assist in the reconfiguration and refurbishment of their Bayswater property. PCC acted as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to deliver the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the five storey townhouse, set within a Conservation area, to provide a new London home for its owners and their expanding family
The works involved the complete refurbishment including replacement floor structures together general structural alterations to open up sections of the property and to open plan family living spaces and general landscaped areas
Having successfully worked with BASE Interiors reconfiguring and regenerating a number of apartments, PCC were approached to act as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to deliver the extension, reconfiguration and refurbishment of a neglected mews property off Harley Street for a city professional.
The works involved the complete refurbishment including replacement floor structures and ground floor slabs together general structural alterations to open up sections of the property and to create an atrium and open staircase with appropriate level of finishes
Having successfully worked with the client on their previous mews home, the client approached BASE Interior and PCC to assist in the refurbishment and reconfiguration of their property adjacent Regents Park. PCC acted as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to deliver the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the listed Nash designed property into a new London home for its owners and their expanding family.
The works involved the complete refurbishment including replacement/ strengthening floor structures together with complete refurbishment of the property including replacement kitchen, bathrooms and new Master Suite all under the supervision / review of The Crown Estate’s team. The works also involved preparation of external areas for a new raised lawn and courtyard area as well as refurbished general landscaped areas
Having successfully worked with the client on previous projects, they approached PCC to assist in the redevelopment of a Knightsbridge property. PCC acted as Quantity Surveyor to deliver the extension, reconfiguration and refurbishment of the property into a prime six bedroom home of some 6,500 sf.
The works involved the complete refurbishment of a Listed Building including replacement floor structures together general structural alterations to open up sections of the property and to create a bedroom suite extension combined with retaining walls to create a linked mews area, two levels of basement and a loft / roof level extension for the property with the commensurate level of finishes befitting the property
Having successfully worked with the client on several previous schemes and a luxury Knightsbridge property, they approached PCC to assist in the redevelopment of a listed property in South London. PCC acted as their Quantity Surveyor for the works, which involved the restoration of and creation of a subterranean extension to a Listed Building & coach house including double level gym / pool area basement to provide eight bedroom property of some 15,000 sf, with a suitable level of finishes and external works befitting the property
PCC acted as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor in conjunction with BASE Interiors to deliver the reconfiguration and refurbishment of an existing mansion block property in Swiss Cottage, to create new four bedroom family home with open plan living / dining / kitchen area.
The works involved the removal of all non load bearing walls and the complete refurbishment including replacement floor structures, finishes and bespoke joinery units to all areas
PCC were approached by the architect ( NDA ), to assist a client in the redevelopment of their West London property. PCC acted as Quantity Surveyor to deliver the extension, reconfiguration and refurbishment of the end of terrace townhouse into a high quality London home for its owners.
The works involved the complete refurbishment including replacement floor structures together general structural alterations to open up sections of the property and to create linked heavily glazed ground floor extensions and associated external works
PCC were approached by the Architect, Anthony Carlile, to act as Quantity Surveyor to deliver the conversion, extension and refurbishment of a former industrial unit into a quality, airy and bright home and studio for its new artist and lecturer owners.
The works involved the complete refurbishment and extensions to the property on a restricted plot together with the creation of a new courtyard area.
Having successfully worked with the client on their new Studio / home, they approached PCC to assist a close relative in the redevelopment of their South London property. PCC acted as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to deliver the extension, reconfiguration and refurbishment of the duplex unit into a new London home for its owners, on which the client acted as the designer for the interior works.
The works involved the complete refurbishment including replacement floor structures together general structural alterations to open up sections of the property and to create a bedroom suite extension combined with retaining walls to create a bridged courtyard area and refurbished general landscaped areas
Having successfully worked with the Architect on a number of previous residential refurbishment and extension projects, including the Architect’s own home, PCC worked with them to reconfigure and refurbish a ‘turreted’ Kensington property.
Whilst not one of the largest schemes PCC have acted on as Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor, the detailing and overall effect of the project, including the Master Suite delivered a stunning property for the new owner.
