I used Pinnington Law for my complicated divorce. I originally met with Stephen (who came to see me at home as I was on crutches). He was really easy to talk to and I felt he cared. He referred me on to Clare his wife and I can honestly say I am overwhelmed with the care and compassion she showed throughout my journey with her. Due to the complexity of the divorce she also had to face challenges she hasn't had before but all the time I knew she wouldn't give up. I will always remain grateful for what I can only be described as 'my freedom'.

I approached Stephen Pinnington on the advice of a friend who was very pleased with the outcome and result of a pension claim. It far exceeded the expectations financially .Mr Pinnington was very reassuring after listening to my story regarding the earlier results of my Divorce case and felt badly let down and poorly advised by previous Firm Of Large Solicitor's in Manchester.Without going into too much detail. I initially approached Stephen for advice a couple of years ago when my former wife and I first separated. Of the 4-5 I spoke with, he clearly sounded the most friendly and helpful, plus I sensed that he genuinely cared about his work and clients and was not in this just to make money. I thus booked a half-hour initial consultation and was impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, calmness and great client manner. Our meeting only confirmed my sense that his passion was to help his clients and not make money from them – he was clearly not trying hard to "win my business", but just to offer the best possible advice.Subsequently my wife and I decided to wait to divorce on the grounds of two years separation, and as it ended up an amicable and very straightforward divorce I found I was able to handle most of the process myself (I would not however recommend this for anything but the most straightforward of situations without children involved, and only for those who feel competent to work with unfamiliar processes). However, I approached Stephen toward the end to handle the final steps of a consent application with the request for a pension sharing order to achieve a clean break. We met again and I was pleased to find he remembered me. One short consultation and a few days later, I had in my hands all the paperwork needed for this final step, and a few weeks later the consent order was approved by the court.At the time of writing this I see there are 35 Google reviews and every single one is a five star! That’s almost unheard of, and in itself speaks volumes. I can only echo many of the other comments; I really felt Stephen was a man of integrity, as well as being friendly and efficient; he clearly knew his profession well, and as others have commented, his fees are very reasonable.No hesitation therefore in strongly recommending Pinnington Law to handle your divorce – in fact, I believe you would be making a mistake if you chose to go elsewhere!
