As accountants we have a broad spectrum of businesses we work for across multiple industries. The 3 most valuable things I personally enjoy about my job is:
1) Adding value: Imparting my knowledge and experience picked up from witnessing challenges faced and challenges overcome from one set of clients and advising others of the shared experiences gained
2) Appreciation: Gratitude my clients show from making savings due to smart planning
3) Mentoring: Helping the younger generation take over the baton of running their family enterprises
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked in the corporate world for large banks and financial institutes, I decided that for me, I find my work more fulfilling and rewarding when I help everyday businesses. I prefer to apply my skills to benefit real businesses that represent 'Middle Britain' than groups of shareholders in a large company whom I have no personal affinity or connection with.
