My name is Callum Murray, I have been playing piano for over 18 years and am currently working as a composer and piano teacher. I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BSc in Music Composition and Technology, during which I wrote music ranging from electronic/hip hop for designers at the Chelsea Fashion Show to orchestral scores performed by The Long Beach Wind Orchestra. I have also been an avid performer for countless events throughout my studies, accompanying for choirs, soloists, ensembles as well as taking part of piano solo performances of advanced classical and jazz pieces.
I teach children from the age of 5 and up and have developed a fun and engaging approach to teaching piano performance as well as sight reading and music theory. I recognise that my students will all have different goals when it comes to their music education and I attempt to tailor my lessons to their needs.
