What do you love most about your job?
I have a lifelong passion for and affinity with animals having grown up surrounded by them. When I was young, I wanted to be a vet but sadly didn't listen to my heart! I have always been active and love the outdoors and my job allows me to combine this with my love of animals.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After a breast cancer diagnosis at a young age and 21 years of working in IT in the Corporate Rat Race, I decided it was time to follow my heart and do something I love that I could put my heart and soul into. It all started when I took an unpaid sabbatical of 5 months from my previous job a couple of years ago and took off to the Greek island of Skiathos with my 3 beautiful cats, to volunteer for a cat charity and a dog charity there. I have supported them for many years during holiday visits and wanted to be able to devote more time to helping them. One of my cats is a rescue from there, so she took a trip back to her homeland! I have recently re-homed another stray rescue from Athens.

I am fully insured, DBS-checked and a member of the National Association of Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers (https://narpsuk.co.uk/profile/pawsandchaws) and am also on the local register of dog walkers who have signed up to the local council's code of practice. Your pet(s) will be treated with the same love and care that my own cats receive.
I offer:
- dog-walking (Group or one-on-one options - maximum 3 dogs in a group walk),
- pop-in pet-sitting to feed/care for cats, dogs or other small animals (up to 30 minute visit to include feeding, cleaning, pampering, administering medication and other small house-sitting tasks,
- pet transport e.g. to vet/groomer,
- day care for cat and dog friendly dogs
