I was extremely impressed by the Black Spot remover product. Our Indian Sandstone patio had only ever been jet washed and was very discoloured. I followed the instructions to the letter and I could see the solution removing the black spots as I worked. Amazing results and I wi be purchasing more solution to treat another area. Although I read some less than positive reviews I decided to go ahead and buy it. I had 6 Indian Sandstone slabs with some black spot on. It removed all the black spot from 5 slabs but the other one was more persistent in not wanting to lose its spots. After another soaking it finally gave in and 98% of the black spots disappeared. I used about 1 1/2 litres to do my 6 sections, expensive yes but the slabs look a lot better now. More...

Bought the patio black spot remover a year ago at Harrogate flower show. My husband and I were rather sceptical as we had tried other products before which had not worked on the black spots on our patio. We used the remover as per the instructions and the patio came up like new! After a couple of days there was a 'mottled effect' on the stones so I contacted Simon Essex at the patio black spot company who assured me that this would disappear, which it did after a heavy rainfall.The patio stayed looking like new all summer. Over the winter we got some green staining which easily pressure washered off - but no sign of those stubborn black spots. My husband has now treated the patio with the black spot preventer so we are assured the black spots should not return.This product is not cheap, but definately works. It really does work, just as they say. I applied as instructed and the patio looks like new bar a few stubborn bits which I'll give another go. Brilliant! I have been looking for years for a solution to my problem. Not a cheap solution but the only one I have found that REALLY works. Pressure washing
We apply Patio Black Spot Remover first to help restore the natural colour of the stone and remove all organic growth. After 1-2 hours we lightly pressure wash to remove any surface dirt that remains. This process is repeated until the stone is spotless.
Indian Sandsone Cleaning
Sandstone, over time, gets covered in black lichen staining and loses its colour. We can restore Indian Sandstone back to like-new condition and guarantee this staining will never return.
