New battery storage was fitted last November a I hope that should save electric bill in the future. I have own EV car and new electric heaters for our house will help reduce the electric bills.

Having ignored several approaches from other companies to have a battery installed for our solar panels (installed in 2011), Off Grid Group came with an offer that was too good to miss. I am so pleased I went with off grid group. Much cheaper quote than octopus energy and other companies . Sam has been brilliant throughout and answered all my questions along the way. I already have solar panels so opted just for the battery. The installer was great , professional and done a really good job. No deposit needed and did not pay until it had been installed. I filled out the quotation form on the website and Sam contacted me via WhatsApp the same day. After a very brief discussion (via message) a solution was offered to extend my existing battery array (half the cost of another supplier who wanted to replace my inverter and provide new batteries). With an agreement to go ahead, I was offered a sales call to go through the details, but I was perfectly happy with the plan. The following week the batteries were installed and painstakingly aligned next to the inverter (although not perfect according to the electrician [I disagreed]), leaving me with 24kwh of storage. excellent from beginning, continues over 6 months later dealing with my many ( sometimes daft ) questions, but always solves or helps to solve any problems, Sam is very good.

Sam was very patient, supplying several quotes until I settled on my preferred specification - a Hanchu system with 5kW inverter, Home Backup Gateway and 2x 9. 4kwH batteries. The price was 25% less than my best quote for an equivalent system from Sigenstor, and the Hanchu has a longer warranty. Installation was scheduled for just a few days after agreement, versus several weeks for the other quotes I received, and went without a hitch. The system looks great and is working flawlessly so far. Being Chinese the documentation is a little flaky but the UK distributor has good Youtube videos to help you get the most from the system. I would definitely recommend both Hanchu systems and Off Grid Group to anyone looking for a powerful but cost-effective battery system. More...

We'd been looking at home battery storage for a while and sent in an enquiry to Off Grid. Sam came back with a call (wasn't pushy) and spoke briefly about our needs. He sent me a very competitive quote and by chance his crew (Jay and Mark) were in the area and I asked if they could do a survey to make sure installation would be feasible/foresee any problems. They arrived said all was ok and said we have the the battery and inverter in the van, did we want to do it now? We said why not? We spent 6months researching solar batteries. We placed an order for some fox batteries and an inverter to be installed. The day before the installation, we were informed that they were unable to get the batteries! We were then informed that they would install a hanchu system instead!!! Obviously we cancelled the install as this was not what we ordered. Speaking to other solar companies today, it's clear that the price we were quoted was completely unrealistic. It appears they did this to get our business and then try to install a lower grade system!
