I filled out the quotation form on the website and Sam contacted me via WhatsApp the same day. After a very brief discussion (via message) a solution was offered to extend my existing battery array (half the cost of another supplier who wanted to replace my inverter and provide new batteries). With an agreement to go ahead, I was offered a sales call to go through the details, but I was perfectly happy with the plan. The following week the batteries were installed and painstakingly aligned next to the inverter (although not perfect according to the electrician [I disagreed]), leaving me with 24kwh of storage. Sam was very patient, supplying several quotes until I settled on my preferred specification - a Hanchu system with 5kW inverter, Home Backup Gateway and 2x 9. 4kwH batteries. The price was 25% less than my best quote for an equivalent system from Sigenstor, and the Hanchu has a longer warranty. Installation was scheduled for just a few days after agreement, versus several weeks for the other quotes I received, and went without a hitch. The system looks great and is working flawlessly so far. Being Chinese the documentation is a little flaky but the UK distributor has good Youtube videos to help you get the most from the system. He sent me a very competitive quote and by chance his crew (Jay and Mark) were in the area and I asked if they could do a survey to make sure installation would be feasible/foresee any problems. We spent 6months researching solar batteries. We placed an order for some fox batteries and an inverter to be installed. The day before the installation, we were informed that they were unable to get the batteries! We were then informed that they would install a hanchu system instead!!! Obviously we cancelled the install as this was not what we ordered. Speaking to other solar companies today, it's clear that the price we were quoted was completely unrealistic. It appears they did this to get our business and then try to install a lower grade system!
