Nina has been a huge help with or mini dachshund Lola. She is extremely patient, calm and caring and we’ve noticed a huge difference with our puppy!

We had the pleasure of working withNina to train our 5-month-old puppy Bella, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From the very beginning, Nina impressed us with her professionalism, calm demeanour, and extensive knowledge about dog behaviour and training techniques.

She taught us invaluable skills, including how to train our puppy to follow basic commands, walk on a loose lead, and stay calm even in distracting environments- also grooming! Her approach was not only effective but also incredibly supportive and positive, making the entire experience enjoyable for both us and our pup.

We’ve started working with Nina as our rescue puppy (former street dog from Georgia) was really anxious around people and noises. Our dog absolutely loves her and we’re looking forward to every session as we can already see such a big difference in his behaviour after just 5 sessions. She has not only helped us manage our dog’s anxiety but also to understand canine behaviour in general and how to adjust our actions to strengthen the bond between us and our four-legged friend. Nina is an incredible trainer and helped me hugely with my Spaniel who I rescued at 7 months. His recall was extremely poor so I was having to keep him on the lead, which was hard as he wanted to run and explore! We worked on this as well as loose lead walking and learning to settle. The difference in my dog Charlie is huge - he is able to settle when at a pub, cafe etc and now walks next to me on the lead instead of dragging me along! The biggest success has been his recall - I am now able to let him off the lead everyday and he is so much happier for it - he sniffs and runs to his hearts content while I feel confident that he won’t run off and responds to both my voice and the whistle. We have a 2 year old mini dachshund and have struggled a bit lately with her being barky in the house and with guests, even if it's a guest she has met before, barking at strangers and cyclists outside, pulling on the lead and separation anxiety. I have been working with Nina and the Tailstars for two months now and the improvement in my daxie's behaviour is palpable. She is more calm outside and also calms down faster with visitors. I recently had the pleasure of working with Nina for the training of my two Chow Chows, Kira and Zoe. Nina was great and accommodating when it came to training lessons. Having a very active puppy, we needed some support when it came to teaching him new commands and reinforcement on those that he already knew. After several lessons with Nina, our little boy became more aware of his behavior, learning how to focus before rushing, sticking to our side while going on walks, and improving his behavior with other dogs.

We adopted a very nervous rescue greyhound who became very distressed when he encountered other dogs - we could not take him for a single walk without him becoming very upset, barking and shaking - it was heartbreaking. Nina worked so lovingly with him and really brought him out of his shell, he’s obviously very much in love with her for it! Nina is very knowledgeable and seems a great dog trainer, can’t wait to start!

Nina looked after our two cats while we were away for a week recently. From the first visit we knew they'd be in good hands; Nina's genuine love for and understanding of animals came through immediately.

Our cats are attention-seekers who love affection so they needed someone who'd spend a lot of time with them. Nina certainly delivered — every day while we were away she sent us pictures and videos of them chilling, playing, snuggling and generally having the time of their lives.

Nina has been training our rescue dog Lisa since October and we have noticed a huge improvement in her recall. She came from a shelter in Crete and Nina has even got her doing some basic tricks which is great for her concentration and keeping her mind healthy. I'd highly recommend :)

We initially contacted Nina to help us train our shih tzu, Ralph. We had had a trainer previously and he gave some useful tips but wasn’t very good at actually showing us what to do.

Nina was recommended to us by a friend so we started having regular sessions. Ralph’s behaviour started to improve immediately and continued to progress over the next few months.

Nina is great and we would recommend her to anyone who wants to learn how to properly train their dog!

We now don’t need sessions as regularly but we will definitely continue to have occasional top up sessions going forward!

Nina is marvellous! She has been working with our 9 month old dachshund for a couple of months now and we have seen vast improvements in her behaviour.

Ahead of starting any sessions Nina took the time to get to know us and our dog, particularly to assess what we would like to get out of the sessions and how best to get through to the pup. This really put my mind at ease, as I was so unsure of the bigger companies who have set lessons - no two dogs are the same and mine will definitely need more than one lesson to learn!

She has been utterly brilliant at building the foundation of training with our dog, and enabling us to continue the teaching. I really can't recommend Nina enough, I don't know what we'd do without her! More...

Nina has been training my English Bulldog for a while and I can't thank her enough. She was amazing and now I have a well behaved and a stubbourn dog that actually listens.

Nina was great from the first email correspondence. She came to meet me and my cat before she cat sat and sent daily pictures and updates. She went above and beyond (even bringing me parcels in while I was away). My plans changed last minute which meant I was away longer than originally planned and agreed but Nina was an absolute life saver. She even left a Christmas card and lots of cat treats for when I returned. Would highly recommend and can't imagine asking anyone else to cat sit in future. More...

I can not recommend Nina enough. Nina has found her calling in loving and caring for our furry family members. Nina cares for our cat Tiffany who races to the door and meows when she hears Nina arrive. Whilst we are currently work from home (covid) we wanted Tiffany to get used to a cat sitter for when we return to work - we couldn't have found a better sitter than Nina.
Nina takes her for a walk (harness), plays with her then finishes off with a brush - all done with lots of love. Nina also very intune with Tiffany - if she doesn't want to walk, she play with her, or if she wants to spend an hour outside sniffing a leaf, Nina patiently stands around with her.
Nina has also stayed over night both caring for our house and Tiffany.
Nina is kind, professional, punctual (if anything stays longer than needed) and dedicated to our fury friends.
You will be lucky to have Nina.

Nina has been walking our goldendoodle, Beaumont, since the beginning of 2020. I really appreciate that Nina has taken the time to get to know Beaumont’s personality and understand his energy. When I see them interact, she gives him 120% of her love and attention and he just adores her. As soon as I met Nina I liked her personality. Bertie my Border Terrier has taken to Nina and loves his walks. His behaviour has improved too. He is much more polite now.
