Guy was kinda rude and kept lieing. Kept changing his prices, what we agreed .. Said no deposit then wanted a deposit. He wanted a deposit to masking tape the house.
Said he will start Saturday and it be finished in few days. What he meant on the Saturday is “I’ll put the tape on and you pay me deposit and I won’t come back for 3 days and then I will start” so we had a big argument about this. He couldn’t understand how he contradicted everything. Was feeling promising until he charged 1950 for the house for me to say someone else quoted 1200(Evans Decoraters) and he said “ok 1200” without hesitation which made me feel I was getting ripped off right away. Then to change everything we discussed, on the Saturday morning angered me to the point I told him to forget the job. All he kept saying is “I’ll see if I can do some painting today, but nobody works weekends” - THIS was after he gave me the initial quote and said they work weekends !
You can write what you want on this review but your service and the way you went about it was shocking. Wanting a deposit for some masking tape 🤣🤣
I ended up using a company from Chester called optimum decorating services who did an amazing job WITH NO TAPE AT ALL - that speaks volumes with a decorater, a professional doesn’t need tape..
All in all, I had my time and energy wasted by this company. It was very promising, until it absolutely wasn’t.. which didn’t take long.

We used New Design to paint the interior – walls, ceilings, and kitchen ) of our new house. They came out and did an estimate (which I found quite reasonable), and got us on their schedule really quickly, especially considering all of the delays and backlogs in the work in our home.
The crew that came to our house were very professional and worked quickly. They were also really responsive when we made a few changes to colors, etc. during the painting process. We were so happy with the results; our house looks great. I’d use them again in a minute, and would highly recommend them to anyone.
