I started working out with Dean about 9 months after my third child was born in July 2021 - I had gained about 25KG in my pregnancy and was still carrying baby weight when I started. Fast forward 2 years (!) I have lost the last 10kg, am fitter than I ever have been, and have also met some amazing people in this incredibly supportive community. Dean is a fantastic coach and although there have been some fairly tough work outs - they have always been fun. I signed up with Dean 6 weeks ago and joined his kickstarter challenge - a combination of workouts and building healthy eating and lifestyle habits. I was quite anxious initially, not feeling particularly fit and being new to a lot of the exercises. Dean is so supportive and encouraging - giving me adaptations to exercises where needed so that I can work at my own pace and level. I have been able to push myself and have already achieved more than I expected. I joined in on Dean's bootcamps a few weeks ago, to prepare me for the spartan race. he is a fantastic and motivated instructor. he makes it fun but challenging also. Dean is so well organised and structured, he gets us using lots of different equipment and it's a very friendly atmosphere and great fun. I joined in on Dean's bootcamps 8 weeks, to prepare me for the spartan race Trifecta weekend. Dean is a great girness teacher. His work outs each week are fun and well structured. I went to Dean with massive insecurities about myself but in the 12 weeks we've worked together he's been a massive support, helping me in many ways to understand the right and wrongs in my diet, the correct way to exercise, warm up and warm down. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
Firstly, we have a free discovery call so that we can explore where you're currently at in life, what your current goals are and discuss what options are available to you.
If we decide that we're a good fit for each other we can enter into an agreement where you'd work with me for a period of 6-12 weeks, depending on which programme was right for you.
The first phase is all about gathering information, so that I can get a deep understanding of how you are currently living from day to day. From this information I'm able to personalise a fitness and lifestyle program tailored to your individual needs.
Over the coming weeks you have the option to exercise with me at a private studio, in the comfort of your own home or online. You will receive access to your own online portal and mobile phone app so you can keep on track and monitor progress. You will receive nutritional support, habit tracking and ongoing accountability from me directly through the app. It's like carrying a coach in your pocket.
As we track the data the program will be tweaked accordingly as and when needed so that it gives you the best possible chance of achieving your goals.
