I have a 40 kg dog who had a bad start to life, jumping up, no recall, not able to walk on a lead without being pulled to the ground. We were both skeptical anything could be done.
Well, we are both so impressed (and relieved) and 2 weeks on have a totally different dog. Calm, walking on a lead, recall coming on nicely. When my dog was diagnosed with pancreatitis recently the Vet told me I had to give him a very low fat diet - I didn’t really know where to start with deciding what to feed him. I spoke to Cormac who recommended the best possible diet for our dog based on his diagnosis, age and what he enjoys eating. My first shopping experience with you a couple of weeks ago as I was looking for a new food for my dog. My vet had recommended certain things to avoid and I explained this to the lady (sorry didn’t get your name) and she took the time to read all the ingredients and find the most suitable one to try, which by the way has worked 🙌 Also I’d like to mention she took the time to get to know me and my dog, had a chat, it wasn’t about the sale or the money I was spending it was about creating a relationship and a returning customer which I really found refreshing and a lovely shopping experience. Had a very positive experience with Natural Balance Dog training on Tuesday. I spoke to Sarah last week about the issues we were experiencing with our springer spaniel being her barking at anything or anyone that approaches our house and her pulling at the lead making walking her very difficult. It’s only been two days and we’ve already seen such a positive improvement in her walking. We have been consistent and taken her on small walks around where we live regularly and the pulling is very minimal now, hasnt completely stopped but we understand this will take time. Sarah was very friendly and put me at ease -- depending on the outcome of my training -- I will be recommending them.

5 stars isn't enough for the advice and support that Sarah has given us. We had our first session 5 months ago and have seen drastic improvements in our St Bernards behaviour. When we first reached out to Sarah, Bentley was reactive on walks to both people and dogs and was nervous in the house with new people. Now we can go on pack walks with limited reactivity and have had people come to the house with no issues at all, including young children. Stacie lawson came today and was very good with my boy Kong and me! start of the journey towards training him and all i can say is fantastic friendly service couldnt of asked for better trainer to come help ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Honestly i have no-t had a good experience with this company. After ringing initially and explaining that my problems with my 2 year old rescue dog Koda was dog aggression on walks after being attacked in a park and “selective” recall issues – sometimes she’s great others not so much! I chose a very expensive £500 package as pack walks was the thing that would be most beneficial to us as dog aggression was a big thing for us and that a trainer that could provide this was in a reasonable distance to my house. First appointment made the training never turned up….great start! But everybody makes mistakes – after ringing and re arranging the trainer attended my property to meet Koda. Off the back of that meeting, I was supposed to get a behaviour report. That never materialised – never has. Second meeting was in a park – had a bit of a walk showed me where I was going wrong where to approve….very bog standard stuff really …then was expecting pack walks to be set up and a behaviour report. Behaviour report number two you guessed it – never materialised. After hearing radio silence for two weeks I decided to check in and was advised from the trainer she no longer works at the company and I needed to call the office to talk about pack walks. I called the office and explained I really wasn’t happy that I had paid £500 for a very expensive walk so far and that I needed something fixed around pack walks and behaviour reports or a refund. It was then said that I would have three one to one sessions with the trainer instead of pack walks and that the original trainer would carry this on as a favour, as all the other set up pack walks were an hour plus away from me. Its now been about 5 weeks since our very expensive walk around black park and I still have not been able to set any further training up and no behaviour reports. I have just been researching and trying different training techniques myself at this point – and honestly its better then the support I have received. More...

The trainer in question is no longer part of our team and this customer has been given a partial refund plus offers of unlimited time one-to-one free training with our Senior Behaviourist, a new report and free Video Consultations with our Head Behaviourist. All efforts have been made to resolve this and the customer has refused to engage with us despite high levels of customer service. This review is not remotely reflective of our company as every other review clearly shows.

Having got a rescue dog that had already had 3 homes and was showing some reactive behaviours and sometimes trying to bite it was clear that at some point he had been hurt and possibly hit around the head so saw hands as weapons. This dog was not quite 9 months old so I knew he needed some help to get over these behaviours.
I spoke with Sarah who reassured me that he could be helped so I chose the VIP package so he could have the very best of help and support.

Dexter WAS a source of tension in our home life. He was reactive to other dogs, resource guarding and he would not listen to us and was slowly destroying parts of the garden by snapping branches off things then running circles around us and also leaping on furniture inside and stealing things. Owning him was not the pleasure we imagined it to be. We were having discussions about rehoming which in our hearts we did not want to do.

Enter Sarah at Natural Balance DT. Dexter is now a dramatically different and a much happier dog.

Sarah is amazing. We had only one session with her but unlike others she does return texts and offers support after the session is over.

We have gone from chasing Dexter around the garden to simply giving a 'leave' command and Dexter drops whatever he had in his mouth and comes in for a treat. As a safety thing this is amazing. Being a Lab he has very high food drive. And for a Lab, his is insane!

His reactivity is getting MUCH better and is on the way to being sorted.

Don't get me wrong, we still have much to do but in just one session we were given some brilliant tools and all our concerns were dealt with. This was followed up by an in depth 16 page report to remind us of things to work on. As we chose Sarah's Elite package we also have access to 4 video training courses which are invaluable and I wish i had this at the start.

We cannot thank you enough Sarah for changing our lives (especially Dexter).

The big test was a couple of days later when we took Dexter to a crowded beach full of dogs and kids. A couple of dogs had a go at Dexter but he did NOT!

Would I recommend? Absolutely without hesitation. Any regrets? Just one ... That we didn't find Sarah right from the beginning! More...

Hello , I'm very pleased of what can be done to help me train my dog as I have managed to do some but there's other stuff I can not do so it so relieving to know that I have got help with the other things that need to be sorted out.

Sarah contacted me after our initial enquiry very promptly and it was clear straight away that she was going to be able to help us with our anxious dog.
It is no exaggeration to say Sarah changed our dogs behaviour as soon as she entered our home and the visit was really successful.
We really appreciated Sarah’s straight talking approach and her clear expectations of us as a family to support and reinforce the changes we needed to make for our dogs.
As Sarah pointed out we would need to work longer on some areas but I can absolutely say with confidence that this training has literally changed our dogs into calm, happy, respectful fluff balls and we can’t recommend it enough. More...

Great pet centre. even do delivery free. I didn't find the web site easy to use. Having done a search and found the item I wanted (not all stock is on the web site) to do a 2nd search it is necessary to go back through home to do a another.
