small but complicated glazing job which involved installing a fire hinge to an aluminium window.
He did a brilliant job and clearly has vast glazing experience. He used to manage a team of 10+ people on large installations and also has accreditation on fire rated glazing, so he clearly has a wealth of knowledge. Had bought an awning but hadn’t realised how heavy it was and was concerned about the installation and the wall it was going onto.
Drew and team quoted quickly, came quickly and did a good job of putting the awning up with respect, kindness and cleanliness. They were professional and reassured me that it was good. I will be waiting for the 2 year certificate now as promised which guarantees against a faulty install and issues such as it coming down away from the wall. However, they did a good job that it looks solid and behaves flawlessly. They made sure that it was straight and weren’t happy until there job was correct and to standard. Fantastic work.

I posted the job on Bark after purchasing an awning with a view to installing myself. However I was concerned about the weight of the awning loading on the wall. Drew contacted me within an hour and talked through the options and reassured me with the right fixings there would be no issue. He attended with Harry the next morning and they both gave me a step by step explanation and reassurance that all would be well. Both clearly had experience and knowledge of awning installation and were professional in their work. How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Make sure the garage is structurally safe, a professional will be able to advise you whether uour garage is suitable to be converted, some garages are too poorly built and decrepit in which case it might be cheaper to knock down and start again.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Foundations and floor slab , infilling where garage door is , dpm , stud work and insulation to walls , roof work (timber joist and boarding out ), Grp / Rubber/ felt are the preferred finishes for flat roofs, first fix services electric/plumbing , windows and doors install , plasterboard and plastering, finsh off with second fix on electric, painting.
