What do you love most about your job?
Bookkeeping is not the only thing I do. My clients tend to require support in multiple areas including social media marketing, operations management and other areas of business administration. I love the variety, no two days are ever the same!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having spend over 20 years working in financial administration and running my own SME, I understand the challenges that other small to medium sized enterprises face. You set up your business because you believed in what you could provide or sell and that is your area of expertise. The other parts like social media, bookkeeping etc are a huge source of anxiety and drain on your time and stop you from doing what you need to do to keep your business heading in the right direction. This is a huge problem faced by not only you, but many SME owners out there (please take comfort from that) having seen and helped friends and colleagues navigate their way to success, I saw an opportunity to do something I enjoy and My Outsourced Assistant was born after the pandemic.

I provide a one stop shop to the gaps in your business. I can integrate with your existing systems (or help you set one up if needed, provide a personalised service even though I work remotely. I believe that empowering others to succeed is the key to my own success and fulfilment.

Yes! The majority of the work done is conducted online. We will first have a video meet to break the ice, talk about you, your business and what you would like to achieve and discuss where you are at present, what systems you use and areas you feel support is required. I am happy to jump into your chosen methods of information, data sharing, bookkeeping etc. For clients based in the North West, I am available to attend in person subject to cost.
