What makes a great website?
75% of people judge a company based on its website, so it is vital for every business to have a strong website. A great website should not only look visually pleasing and be easy to navigate, it should also be optimised for search engines to ensure strong visibility, as well as be WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) compliant to reduce the accessibility gap for web users who have visual impairments and other disabilities that affect their visual interaction with a website.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I make sure to get to know the client and the business and ask what their vision of the website should be like, because it will help determine what the website is looking to achieve and build the structure and visitor journey of the website.
What do you love most about your job?
We love helping people and empowering people with digital knowledge. Many people declare themselves "not an expert" when it comes to digital, but we believe everybody can learn more about digital because it doesn't have to be intimidating or scary. We promise not to use unnecessary acronyms and jargon, and strive to ensure our clients are comfortable and included with all digital decisions.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 13 years of corporate eCommerce and fashion retail experience, I found myself needing a new challenge after a global restructure. With my varied career experience (buying, merchandising, logistics, analytics etc), I wanted to take all my expertise and knowledge and give back to small business owners. Small businesses are the backbone of the UK economy, and I do not believe small business owners should be penalised for their lack of digital knowledge, especially in this digital-first world.

We are entirely online only, as our work can be done remotely and only require email and WhatsApp communication. However, clients in London have the option of face-to-face meetings.
