Having used dog walking services for the last 30 plus years and also raising and training numerous guide dogs and police dogs, I have to say this has been by far my most unpleasant experience in dealing with a professional service. From start to finish it feels like this is more about the cash than the care and interest in the dogs. The feedback from the company for the trial experience for my 8 month old red fox lab was quite upsetting. Apparently he was boisterous. What exactly did the clearly very inexperienced dog walker expect? He is a puppy. Then on to the incorrect billing which I had to contest and then the endless forms that need to be completed, which incidentally were, yet the same dog handler failed to collect prior to the scheduled walk yet I was ‘told off’ by the female owner. The rules and regs are fair enough but please communicate to your customers and do so in a friendly manner. The final insult was the email advising me that I should only contact a certain person with issues and being made to feel like I was being reprimanded. Totally unacceptable customer service. Do not use. There are far more friendly and reputable companies who actually care about your precious family pets. More...

Maybe if they themselves followed simple instructions it would be different but appears their staff cannot manage to follow a NO ENTRY sign but reverses up said NO ENTRY - lazy ? Stupid? Or unable to follow simple instructions !!! More...

Have been using Mark for our Chocolate Labrador for nearly 7 years. Started when he was a puppy and did home visits and then moved on to walks everyday for him. Mark regularly looks after our dogs Poppy and Daisy and they love spending the day(s) with him and the 'doggy gang'. When Poppy had spinal surgery and needed to be rested for 6 weeks, Mark was so helpful in ensuring Poppy was kept away from other dogs and arranged for care at our house when we were at work for the first critical weeks. I'd give them 10 stars if I could! After a very bad start with another local walker (at least once he never turned up) Mark and his team have taken on Eddie and he's having such a wonderful time now. Mark and the team are fantastic! They pick Bowie up every day from my house and drop him home again like clockwork. Bowie gets so excited when he gets picked up, as he must have so much fun at daycare! Even one star is too good for this company!! Seriously people do not use these guys!!! Unless you want no pets left at the end of it! ! They like losing them!!! They neglect to listen to instructions given by the owner of the pets, let nervous dogs off lead in a so called secure area after being told not to, and then wonder why a dog goes missing from jumping a 4ft fence! They should be ashamed of themselves! Words can't describe how I feel about this so called professional business. This isn't the first time someone's pet has gone missing while in their care either. Making a difference
Im lucky that I have already had one long career in the police helping people. Its great I can now do it again but in a completely different way
Think how it feels when you see your client let their dog off the lead for the first time after you've taught them a recall , or you show them they dont have an aggressive dog at all anymore after you have fixed it
Even now when Im teaching new clients it s lovely to look across the park and see people you have taught enjoying their pets and I know its partly down to me
What inspired you to start your own business?
I suppose once you're a public servant a part of you stays that way. Thats why i got the job as a police officer in the first place
I get an enormous amount of satisfaction in what I do
working for myself meant I was always there to drop my kids at school and always there to collect them. Seems trivial or even a chore at the time but now they are growing up you realise how valuable that was
I always knew I could do better even than the safe secure job I had .
Glad to say I was right

Dog Walking
We will collect your pet and let it play in complete safety for an hour. We provide all toys leads treats poo bags etc . You will have a satisfied tired pet returned home to you
Extended care ( Doggy Daycare )
We have our own series of private and enclosed fields so all of our pets are free to run and play as they wish to
Dog Training
I am an experienced professional and am skilled at dealing with obedience and behavioural issues
My log career as a police dog handler / trainer has taught me to understand the training issues before resolving them. I tailor each session to each individual dog - like people they are all different . My experience is not from a classroom or an online course, its real and having worked with and trained dogs for over 30 years
My expertise is aggression issues ( both overt and fear) , excessive barking , puppy biting, recall, lead walking , sit, stays and down, timid behaviours , food issues etc
I charge £100 for behavioural training and £50 for obedience training
I may charge a supplement to travel out of my immediate area
