Mark and his team were absolutely unbelievable. I required someone who could completely change my garden around. My garden was overgrown, rat infested and had old slabs that have been here for donkey of years. Firstly, I liaised with Mark on a Friday afternoon around 2pm and had a good conversation with him about what my requirements are and he took everything on board. Especially the fact that this garden was being changed purely for my elderly vulnerable mother who was returning from India and I needed the work to be completed within 5 days max. Mark and his team came to my property at 8.55am instead of 9am on a Monday morning so 5 minutes prior to their start time which was very nice of them and shows their level of professionalism and punctuality. Day 1 they removed all the previous slabs, removed all the overgrown grass/nettles etc and dug the garden up. Day 2 which was Tuesday whilst I was at work, I didn’t have to work or think about the job being done even once as Mark dropped me a text to notify me of his arrival to my property, they laid the little stones/MOT and other stuff (I don’t know the name haha!) and used a machine to flatten this down. Day 3 which was today/Wednesday, Mark and his team arrived as promised, they put down the cement/sand and concrete (once again I don’t know the exact stuff) but, utilised his tools and resources and the team put this stuff down and then followed it with the Indian Sandstone in Raj Green colour. Upon completion of the work, they cleaned up the alleyway behind my garden fence, they cleaned my garden and the slabs and the fence. In terms of payment, unlike some Mark did not take the full payment before the work. He took a small payment at the end of Day 1 which was a nice way of building trust and then did the same on Day 2 to purchase the materials required and he even messaged me to confirm that he’s got them in the evening and then come Day 3 after the job requested the remainder of the payment. If you want a job doing good to a really high standard then, MJB are the ones. Trust me I am not one to write reviews regardless of how good or bad a job is but, I literally sat down after my garden was complete for 10-15 minutes writing this review as credit should be given where it is due.
