What inspired you to start your own business?
Walnut is a rescue dog that I adopted from Turkey in July 2020. She’s a sensitive soul, and struggled with adjusting to busy London life. She was fearful of human and canine strangers, barking at anyone that looked at her. She was terrified of loud sounds, like fireworks, car engines, or building works. She refused to walk in the dark. She hated car travel. The list felt endless! Step by step, we built a strong relationship based on trust, and she blossomed into a proper city dog. Now, she makes friends quickly, wants to go into every cafe and onto every bus she sees, jumps into the car, and asks for treats when she hears loud noises. Helping Walnut navigate her fears inspired me to learn more about dog training and behaviour — to help others on the same journey.
