Mike is an excellent trainer who quickly gets to know your level of fitness and tailors sessions so that you improve steadily without feeling you've been through an endurance test! In 3 months my muscle strength either doubled or greatly improved when measured against baseline measurements. Mike is friendly to work with and sessions for me are via Zoom and really convenient. I can highly recommend Mike - I've been seeing him since November and was delighted to find that my baseline scores for muscle strength had either doubled or greatly increased when measured again recently (I'm retired, so no spring chicken, either! ). The sessions are via Zoom which is so convenient - I've tried going to a gym or making myself exercise but never kept it up. Knowing I'll be seeing Mike is a real incentive to exercise regularly especially when it can all be done at convenient times at home. Mike is a great PT.Our weekly sessions together are fun, tailored to my goals and really varied and he clearly has a wealth of knowledge backing up everything we do. He's motivating without being at all pushy and I feel totally safe as he's very careful about form and checking for injuries/strains. He's very flexible about where and when we train and just generally great company.He also designed a couple of workouts for me to do in my own time which were tailored not only to my goals but also to the equipment and times available to me, which I really appreciated. I am so pleased I chose Mike to be my personal trainer! I was a bit nervous as I wanted a trainer to come to my home which could have been wierd, and have a history of lower back issues and scoliosis so I wanted to make sure the workouts were suitable. Mike is an outstanding PT. He's reliable, professional and a great communicator and his personal training sessions are consistently demanding, interesting and personally-tailored to ensure they are as effective as possible for the individual.
His knowledge of injury rehab has also come in handy more than once, and integrates extremely well with his training. In my case, he's helped me to rehab a number of minor sports injuries and, crucially, to keep training around them, enabling me to maintain fitness and recover more quickly than would otherwise have been possible.
He's also provided a clear, structured programme to recover and rehab from more serious injury over the longer-term. Since starting to train with Mike, I have lost weight, changed my body-shape and got far fitter, stronger and healthier than I was before and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone whether seeking a general improvement in their fitness or rehab from an injury.

I had a number of personal training sessions with Mike at the end of 2015. I found him to be extremely helpful and down to earth. He challenged me to do things that were difficult but did not set me training targets that were totally beyond my reach. From there I prioritise postural analysis and corrective exercise, using my Sports Science background and Sports Massage skills to ensure my clients are functioning optimally and can achieve the maximum results in the shortest time frame.
