What do you love most about your job?
Weddings are such happy days and I absolutely love to capture the joy and excitement. Finding your match in this day and age is a huge accomplishment and being able to celebrate that momentous occasion time and time again is awesome.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As well as being a photographer, I’m also a director at the BBC and have been working in telly for almost fifteen years, so I love storytelling through beautiful images. I wanted the freedom to be more creative and have always loved photography, often going on safari in South Africa to take photos. I also really enjoy meeting new people. When I put my filmmaking and photography experience together with my outgoing personality, wedding photography felt like a perfect fit. I also love how no two weddings days are the same which means I’m always creating something totally new. Of course, I also love to make friends with my couples too. After all, you have invited me to spend your must important day with you.

I am fiercely dedicated, very fun and laidback. This means that people warm to me quite quickly which is a huge help when it comes to photography. If you’re comfortable with your photographer, you’re going to get better photos. I also take my job very seriously and protect your images like one of the King’s guards. I always have two cameras with me. They’re exactly the same which means that if one goes down, the other is ready to capture the moment in seconds. I also have duel memory card slots, so from the moment I press my shutter, your photos are automatically backed up.
