I explained to the man that I charge for the job, not by an hour or day charge. He wasn’t happy that we finished his work in 2 hours and refused to pay the full amount agreed before hand. Above all, the work was listed as urgent and I even waterproofed the roof for him temporarily (charge free) until the weather conditions were good enough for the work to be carried out.
