We researched Maths Tutors as my daughter needed to build her confidence with G.C.S.E Maths, after careful consideration as we needed to make sure our daughter would be comfortable with on-line tutoring, we deduced to go with Oliver and from day one he made our daughter feel and ease and built her confidence so much that each week she gained more confidence and understanding and always talked through anything she wasn’t sure of or needed additional help with. Oliver was amazing from day one and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who gets year 10/11 anxieties and is very patient and had an amazing manner. He definitely helped our daughter immensely and he got her from a Grade 5 to a Grade 7 which she has just achieved this summer. We as a family have enjoyed working with Oliver over the last year. My daughter has just had her first proper lesson today and I can’t believe how well her maths tutor as got her engaging in the lesson, he explains things so she understands and is very patient, he explains how to work th me questions out in a way my daughter will understand, I’m looking forward to seeing how much she progresses with him which I’m sure she will, I know after having a numerous amount of lessons with him she will be able to go into her gcse maths exam with confidence, I can’t recommend Oliver her tutor enough.

Anyone who has a child that is struggling with Maths or just needs that additional support, a bit of confidence building, then the tutor that you need is Oliver King. My youngest son, TJ, whom was in year 10 and in foundation maths, was really struggling to learn and pick up on his maths subjects and also lacked a lot of confidence and self esteem. I found Oliver online and thought that I would give extra lessons a go. WOW, fast forward a year and my son has been put up to higher maths, absolutely loves the subject and the confidence in him is un recognisable. Oliver takes the time and has the compassion to get to know his students and their interests, and makes them feel so comfortable. His technique is amazing and he himself is a very clever lad. I can not recommend Oliver highly enough. He has formed a friendship with my son which is an unknown and they also have fun within the lessons. I will be staying with Oliver until TJ finishes university. He tutored my son in the weeks up to his GCSE maths foundation exam this year. As a result my son achieved the grade 5 he was looking for.
Every session was well planned by Oliver, targeting topics that my son found challenging. He stayed in regular contact with us throughout the tutoring period, which kept us informed of the progress. The sessions were value for money and in my opinion, worth every penny! Oliver’s knowledge is exceptional and whatever you’re learning style, he can adapt to simplify complex material into a comprehensible format. Further learning resources each week such as topic based questions, past papers and mark schemes each week, gave my son the confidence he needed to sit the exams.
