James has been tutoring my 15 year old In preparation for his gcse exams, Lucas has found the 1:1 online sessions really helpful, he wouldn't have the confidence to say in a class of 30 if he didn't understand something, but with James he feels more able to admit if he's struggling with a topic. The weekly feedback I recieve from james is brilliant and ensures I'm kept in the loop about what they have been doing and links for Lucas to look at in preparation for the next session. I am very grateful for all the support James has given Lucas, he has a very easy going and approachable manner and this helped Lucas to relax and engage more confidently with the lessons. James has been tutoring my daughter who is in yr 8 for the past few weeks. His methodology of teaching has been a game changer and as a result my daughter is performing to the higher standard that she is capable of but was lacking the support that James is now providing. James is super responsive to any requests for example if my daughter has an upcoming maths test, he will cover the test topics as soon as he is informed or if she is struggling with a particular topic he will cover that topic immediately within the next lesson. His daily lesson feedbacks are one of the best I’ve experienced from past tutors- always provides parents with valuable detailed explanations post each lesson with extra worksheets to strengthen lesson contents. He is extremely accommodating as well for example if my daughter is unable to attend an upcoming lesson due to holidays etc he will always try to find an alternative date suitable to us to accommodate the missed lesson.
