What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Lots of pre event communication.
Be natural, the secret in my opinion is to blend in, be confident in managing crowd control when needed for the big groupshots and then back to enjoying the event and capturing great reportage.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What style of photography are you looking for? Formal, informal or Something different
What do you love most about your job?
Working with people and getting great images by being responsive to the energy of the event. I love the creative process, developing the themes working with planners and making the ideas come to life. This is where my design skills come in useful as I understand how to build brands and ideas. I work with some hugely talented wedding planners, florists, dress designers, chefs and entertainers. All can be shared as part of the process.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I enjoy being in control of the creative process and have only myself to answer to.

Because I'm good at what i do and have happy clients who often become friends
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Pre meeting conversations can be done using WhatsApp or zoom but as a general rule I do like to meet people and even do a portrait or an engagement shoot for weddings which is a great way to get to know you. As a photographer I can talk about the process and help clients with camera questions but as to what I can do online it's really the chat prior to the event.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Main option is to work externally. Obviously I wear a mask and always carry sanitiser with me.

Studio based in Bruton the shoot can be natural light or studio lighting or on location of your choice.
I normally allow 2 hours for these sessions costing £200 at the studio. if I come to you i will ask that my mileage is covered.
For studio shoots hair and makeup can be arranged at an additional cost. t.b.a
