From the first contact through Bark, Marcus has been an absolute pleasure to work with.

He listened carefully to where I was currently at in my fitness journey and the goals I wanted to achieve, and tailored my training programme to my ability and goals, as well as building in room for progression, accompanied by regular check-ins.

I feel that as a personal trainer he is knowledgeable, adaptable, and I'm so happy with our work!

I enjoy the gym more due to Marcus's work with me, and I have noticed a marked improvement in my strength, stamina and muscle tone.

I've been working with Marcus for a few months now and have found his knowledge and guidance incredibly helpful. I knew straight away I wanted Marcus as my PT when I saw how encouraging he was during a class at my old gym.
His professionalism and friendliness make the sessions an enjoyable workout yet still leave you sweating and wobbling home. He’s an all round great PT with the knowledge and experience to back it up.
Would 100% recommend him! He’s pretty decent at a pub quiz too..

I’ve been training with Marcus for around 7 years now and he has supported me through pregnancies and recovery after having children. He is calm, patient, knowledgeable and provides great encouragement. I have trained with Marcus both in a gym and at home and the workouts push me every time. I have been working with Marcus almost 10 years now. I had a knee injury at the time and Marcus was recommended to me by his manager in the gym as I needed special training. From the start Marcus was amazing. He is very competent and knowledgeable about the right exercises to do to protect my knees. He listens to my concerns and reservations and always encouraging me. Marcus was recommended to me by my friend over a year and a half ago, when I mentioned wanting to start a regular exercise regimen after recovering from some health issues. Huge thanks to her as I couldn’t have asked for a better personal trainer! He listens and takes note of any issues my middle-aged body presents, and is so experienced and knowledgeable at adapting exercises to accommodate them. Longstanding twinges in my right knee (that made it tricky to negotiate stairs) have amazingly gone - he modified weight and mobility exercises whilst still strengthening the relevant muscles. With patient and gradual build up of intensity over some weeks, I hardly noticed the difference till I realised I was putting my weight confidently on the knee without bracing or wincing. Simply life changing.
I have built up my core strength and cardiovascular fitness with his well-planned and focused exercises, that are all set at just the right levels to challenge but not overwhelm me.
More importantly, with his motivation and positivity, he has changed my mindset about exercise - I look forward to it now, when I once found it uninspiring and more of a chore. He is very personable, professional and is an absolute gem of a trainer. I’ve been really happy to have his guidance on my fitness journey and have no hesitation in recommending him.

I started working out with Marcus about 5 years ago and cannot rave enough about his sessions. Marcus looks at peoples' situations in a holistic way and tailors his sessions around your work-life balance, nutrition, your physical health as well as age. The results are noticable and I feel more toned now than in my thirties! I've been training with Marcus for several years and couldn't have asked for a greater personal trainer.
Every session is designed to my specific needs, and he continually pushes me out of my comfort zone. We have a clear plan that helps me to achieve my goals, and I'm very happy with the results.
I've learnt how to breathe correctly, how to connect mind and muscle for the best results, and the importance of consistency.
I love how innovative and creative Marcus is! Trying new exercises and techniques is always exciting.

I’ve been training with Marcus for just shy of ten years now. He’s an extremely knowledgeable, professional personal trainer and his motivation towards my personal goals has kept me training with him for so long. I suffer with rheumatoid arthritis and Marcus has helped me to still manage to follow a weights session in the gym despite it affecting my hands, right shoulder and right ankle. Where I had difficulties with certain machines and exercises he found another way to still exercise the same muscles in a different way. His approach to adapting training to his client’s needs is second to none. He has helped to manage my exercise regime and given me dietary advice specific to my age group and I have gone from 69 kilos to 60.9 kilos - important for me to have less pressure on my joints through weight management. Marcus has been my trainer for many years. Today he trains me and my husband together , and then my 14 and 16yr old daughters together. He adapts the training to our individual needs, providing insightful knowledge and expertise. Recently Marcus had a sessions with my physiotherapist following my mastectomy, to understand my recovery and get me back to full fitness - which he has done. I can't recommend him enough. If only there were more stars!

I have been training with Marcus for a number of years and recommend him without any hesitation. I can confidently say he is the best PT I have ever had (I’ve had a few!) I have seen incredible results in terms of cardiovascular fitness, strength and sustained weight loss. He is a fantastic motivator and is able to always gauge where my physical and psychological limits are, even better than I can. I have achieved so many goals I never thought were possible and that’s down to all his support, innovative exercises and encouragement. Unlike many trainers he pitches programmes at the right level and sets ambitious but realistic targets. He also genuinely cares about his clients.

Training with him is a great investment and he’s undoubtedly had a positive impact on my overall health, confidence and wellbeing.
