I have a lovely rescue hound that was ever so slightly out of control and not listening to recall which is important because we have sheep on the farm. I purchased an e collar for her but was tentative about how to use it properly, so I called Mark.

We worked for a handful of sessions and he decided to work her with the collar on a very low setting (that I could barely feel on my own bare neck!) and wow what a difference! She was relaxed and happy with every session and her recalls were instant!

I am much more relaxed when walking off lead with her, she’s happier and we trust each other more. We can now walk anywhere off lead! Thank you Mark for all of your time and great help! Jess and Maggie More...

Dog training with Mark has been a huge success for my energetic vocal labrador Mabel. We’ve had a really great experience with Mark so far training our cockapoo rescue. We’ve had three sessions with him and in each Mark’s been understanding, patient and very clear in his instruction. I’ve only had two or three lessons with Mark but, the impact the lessons have had on my very reactive rescue is phenomenal! Mark is a true magician with dogs. He has been able to reach my dog in a way another trainer I tried could not. I saw improvements in her from the very first lesson with Mark. Two lessons later, she was walking at heel, no longer pulling, super obedient in the home, and, best of all, even walks at heel without a lead, for short distances! I'm stunned, and so, so, pleased. She's like a different dog, and now, with her improved behaviour, can play in the park with other dogs and can even be left off lead because her recall has improved massively! Mark has transformed our dogs or maybe I should say us as owners. We rehomed an adult female lurched Ani in September, who had no re training and had never lived inside a house. She ran everywhere! 8 months on she is now calm, walks at heel and even waits at the bottom of the stairs until she is allowed to go up. Our other dog Louis, a male whippet was quite barky with other dogs and used to try to pull us across the road! Mark worked with him and took him on a walk with his large husky Keira and another large Alsatian. Louis now doesn’t bat an eyelid at other dogs. It’s a joy walking our dogs now. We have a very loving but very noisy / over protective / bitey miniature dachshund who is very unpredictable when we’re out on walks or have friends over to our home. We desperately needed Mark’s help, especially with a baby on the way we were very anxious about how Bruno would behave. Mark has taught us how to introduce Bruno to new people, as well as what to do when Bruno barks and how to make him stop. We will continue our sessions with Mark, we always come away feeling confident and full of knowledge! Thank you Mark for all your help with our Cavapoo puppy!

After trying a few classes for our two anxious and reactive puppies, and been told we should seriously consider giving up one of the siblings, we were recommended Mark.
He worked with us and the two puppies every week for almost six months, never giving up and staying very positive. His calm nature provided us with the confidence to keep going.
From having to walk them separately, and away from all other dogs, Mark was able to help them (and us) to progress to the stage where they could walk in the parks with other dogs.

Mum had an hours session on “pulling on the lead” and within 20 minutes on route to park not pulling on lead! ! Mum said his technique was spot on and really appreciated coming to my area for the training as that’s were we struggle the most.

Mark came to help with our 18 month old mini schnauzer. He was friendly and approachable. This is our first dog and dog training is new to me but he was able to make it very simple. Had a massive issue with with 2/6 dogs fighting in the home(bichon frise & Giant schnauzer). The Bichon was the issue, I would call myself an experienced dog owner( also a dog groomer) but becky is a challenging dog, being very smart she is always one step ahead. I have been to numerous Trainers and becky has even been to boot camp. Becky was a menace and actually was ruining my life. She barked at other dogs, kids, the elderly, screamed continuously, and just a dominant dog. Also attacking our elderly dogs trying to kill them if they were poorly. Becky is not food orientated so training her is challenge. Everyone had had enough of Becky and I was constantly getting nagged so I called Mark on a limb, hoping he could help? He assured me if I put the work in, I'd get there. After around 5 sessions with Mark and putting some bloody hard work into Becky, she has literally reformed. She is a sweet angel! Thanks Mark! I cant quite believe we beat Becky! You have actually changed my life as it was hell at home...the dogs fighting...everyone nagging at me. Mark is really Good trainer. I took 3 sessions for my GSD puppy with basic behavioural lessons. My partner and I had never owned a dog before and required a lot of guidance and advice for our miniature Dachund Remi. Knowing that the breed can be very stubborn and hard to train we knew we was going to be up against it. However from lesson one Mark showed his extensive knowledge in dog training and general day to day care and little Remi began following demands within the first hour. 7 months being a pawrent and following marks training and advice, Remi is on his way to proving that not all Dachund’s bark relentlessly at anything and everything 😁

Before I found Mark my "stubborn" corgi was not cooperating on walks and refused to move. Just one lesson with Mark teaching me the basic principles and a few independent sessions later and he's a different dog. Would definitely recommend Mark!

We initially started with the puppy package and were so pleased with what we learned and the great progress our puppy made that we continued with weekly 1:1 lessons for several weeks. We have a Working Cocker Spaniel who is full of energy. Mark helped us to harness that energy with training and he is such a happy and well behaved dog.
