So this is my second review for Luke. At the beginning of year 9 my daughter had got a zero on a practice foundation maths paper. Her confidence, belief and maths knowledge was rock bottom and we honestly couldn’t see how she was going to ever get near passing her GCSE. This is when a friend recommended Luke. On Thursday our daughter got her results! We were absolutely blown away. She achieve a 5 (the highest grade you can achieve on a GCSE foundation paper) this result alone was equivalent,to her, to getting 9’s across the board. What Luke has achieved since he began tutoring her is nothing short of amazing. He not only transformed her maths knowledge but gave her belief, confidence and dare I say it an enjoyment of maths. She looked forward to her tutoring sessions and this brilliant young man made the difference. He is an absolute natural and if he can achieve this with our daughter I feel there is nothing he couldn’t achieve with another student. Luke you are truly wonderful. My daughter started weekly tutoring with Luke at the beginning of year 10. Maths has always been a tricky subject for her and Luke was recommended by a friend who was tutoring her daughter. Since starting her sessions with Luke her engagement with the subject and her progress has been fantastic. Her maths teacher is delighted with the progress she has made and her target grade has risen significantly. Luke has a kind, patient and positive manner and has a great ability to make even the trickiest subject easier to understand. My daughter looks forward to each session and understands the huge benefits it is making to her. Luke will be flexible and will even deliver additional sessions if assessments or mocks are coming up. His communication and professionalism are excellent and since moving into year 11 we are optimistic she will achieve a good result in her GCSE. He is really relatable for younger people and as well as the sessions he is available at any time to help with homework or any other issues inbetween sessions. We will absolutely be asking Luke to tutor our younger daughter once lydia has completed her GCSE and I would whole heartedly recommend him to any parent who is looking for maths tuition and we are truly grateful for the huge difference he has made. Luke provided a full tutorial service during preparation of GCSEs to our son , his approachability and guidance to liam was amazing and give the the confidence in applying in exam situations which made him exceed in his grades.
