I believe in keeping our pets settled and content. I provide a dog walking service, pet sitting in your home, taxi service to vets etc. I have a van that has plenty of room and secure for your pets to be comfortable. I have my own fur babies and they are my best friends and i would nothing more than looking after yours.

Tanya at Lighty’s Waggy Tails is absolutely amazing! She came to our house to meet our two dogs and our cat, and they all loved her right away. When we went on holiday, she took care of our cat, sending us lovely photos and updates, which really put our minds at ease. It was such a comfort to know our cat was in such caring hands. Tanya also takes our dogs for a walk every week, and they absolutely love their time with her. She really took the time to listen to their needs and personalities and it shows, they come back happy, tired, and with their little tails wagging like they’ve just had the best day ever. Tanya has just stayed at our house for 4 nights looking after our two elderly Jack Russel's and our elderly cat, all of whom are very complicated. Our dogs are both anxious and 1 has dementia so we were very worried about leaving them. Tanya made us feel very reassured and managed all their medication and needs to the highest level. I highly recommend Lighty's Waggy Tails. I have a disabled, elderly dog and Tanya took the time to find out everything she needed to know to look after him for me. Obi took to her straight away and I felt very confident leaving him in her care. This is the first time I've left him with anyone other than family in 11 years so it is testament to Tanya that I felt able to do so. What do you love most about your job?
I have given my whole working life of 29 years service to customers in the Licensing Trade so there was nothing that made more sense to me then a new career of my second love animals! being out In the fresh air or in lovely families homes meeting a new set of customers is like a new second home to me, I have met some really lovely people through this new journey meeting a loved pet and their owners.
I love being out with dogs on walks in our beautiful surrounding we are lucky to live near, I love seeing that excited waggy tail when they return home or when the parents walk through the door.
This job is very therapeutic great for exercise, all round great for mental heath.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was a Store and Tap Bar Manager at Ringwood Brewery for slightly over twenty years. Unfortunately the brewery closed, so I was made redundant. The job I always wanted to do was to set up my own business looking after my love, ANIMALS! so this made it all possible some things happen for a reason!!!!
Why should our clients choose you?
I believe a pet should be looked after just like you would a child, I give my fur babies all the love, joy, play as a child needs to live a happy fulfilled life. I am professional, reliable, enthusiastic and most of all the biggest pet lover you will meet.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I will wear a mask if my clients require me to do so. I am fully vaccinated.

group dog walks no more than 4 at a time
Day Care
I provide a day care service so if you wish to go out for the day your dog will have my company for a whole day with walks, play time and feed if required.
Over night stay
Over night stay in your property for one night or seven is available.
I feel pets are more happier in their own home this way they are more content they know where their beds are food bowls etc also your home is kept safe in my care to an extra comfort to you.
I am DBS checked and Insured.
Taxi Service
Taxi service for your pets, if you have no transport, disabled or elderly what ever your situation may be I'm here to help.
If your pet has a vets appointment or a pamper appointment I can help with this taxi service with collection and drop off and safely returned to your home.
Drop In service
A drop in service is simply me checking in on your pets twice a day if required, this maybe to let them out, check water, play time for 1/2h and feed if required.
Hourly sitting rate
If you fancy a night out and dont kike leaving your fur babies then this service is perfect for you.
