I've just had a job completed by the girls at Lady Landscapes. I couldn't be happier. I had been looking for quite a while and doing some research for a reliable company to do some extensive work in my garden. This is the first time I have used Bark but I'm so glad I did. They matched me with Lady Landscapes, they came to see what work was needed, then they boked the date and they came on the day and time they said they would,. They started right away and didn't stop until they had completed the work. This is my first time using lady landscapes and I’m very happy I found them. I had my hedges trimmed and topped my lawns cut and lots of weeding done. I also had wooden borders with bark. Appalling is one word to describe these people! Very overpriced for job done; cutting front and back grass and light hedge trimming. Front garden is compact and easy but they didn't cut the tree's overhanging low branches going onto the street, even though I'd asked them to! My lawn was overgrown at the back of my mid terrace, but not to the point where it couldn't easily be cut through with a strimmer! The boss lady, bea, insisted on payment in Full before commencing the work, not half before and the other half on completion. That did make me question what kind of professionals these lady landscapes are and, I wish I had trusted my gut instinct now! They didn't even tend to an anthill that I'd pointed out before the start of the job, didn't even cut the weeds from inbetween my Privett nor part of the hedge that's causing damage to my shed! They left rusty old sharp gate posts sticking up and a rusty nail sticking out of wood. Professionals who cared would never have left them like that without saying something, in my experience. They are a health and safety hazard, left behind from when scrap/rubbish removals took away fence panels and posts before garden got cut. Also, No resolution to the now exposed muddy hedge slope (which will cause problems) other than trying to sell me a wooden retainer type mini wall. It was just shy of six hundred gbp as it was, just to have a bit of general garden work done! They wanted more money to spray weedkiller on my concrete slabs, an expensive extra, especially as the grass is full of them. Tbh, it should have been included in their job at the price they charged! Shocked the grass by cutting way too short for first cut of the year. Leaving the whole garden uncomfortable underfoot, dry and patchy with a mix of hard spikes and flattened weeds. If they were caring enough like Bea made themselves out to be, the grass would have been cut in at least two stages, a couple of weeks apart. I can't recommend lady landscape at all, especially If you love your garden and want a professional job done. The boss lady does a hard sell but the reality is that she doesn't care about you or your garden. I know this because the outcome I got is not quality work and not how bea had explained it. I stupidly told her bits about my past and ongoing difficulties which revealed my vulnerability! Paid for a shoddy unfinished job. They were in such a hurry to leave, without giving me a chance to inspect the work:/ their excuse; "we have to get to the tip", yet while selling themseves for the job I was told "we'll work hard and stay until 6pm or longer if necessary"! Very upsetting and demoralising. I'm disappointed with myself for falling for Bea's sales tactics, having been ripped off before. Don't pay by cash If you do hire these people as I cannot find any registered vat number!? I hate leaving a bad review but honestly, I'd hate for other vulnerable people to be taken advantage of, that's why I've wrote this:.(
I don't think I would use Bark again either. Checkatrade seems to have more Genuine Professionals!?! More...

An excellent service. I highly recommend LADYLANDSCAPES. I had a quick response & a competitive quote. They are very nice ladies & are reliable, polite, friendly & respectful to me, my property & my neighbours properties.
They cut my hedge's , grass, weeding, clearing & a general tidy up which needed doing badly. They completed all the work on the days & times they said they would. They have done a fabulous job. The company arranged to come and view my garden on 9/5/23. They couldn’t make it so called and rearranged to call on 10/5/23. I waited in for 2 hours and they just didn’t arrive at the allocated time. No call, nothing. Very poor service to a potential customer. I’m disgusted. More...

Was a bit reluctant to try accompany I hadn’t dealt with before but after speaking with them for the quote I realised quite quickly I didn’t need to worry. From the first moment I was at ease, their knowledge and friendly demeanour was very welcoming. We were given a very reasonable quote with no hidden extras. Time at our home doing the work wasn’t an inconvenience, kept very professional but friendly the same time, kept tidying after themselves and everything packed away at the end of each day. The returf made such a difference to our garden, and my husband is still very proud of his lawn! And the other work also is just outstanding. I didn’t think I would be a person who would feel a difference between have males or females doing the work but there was something comforting about having this all women team at our home, and you can beat a womens touch for them finishing touches. I needed my hedge trimmed and some trees cut back and a one completely removed. I cannot recommend these ladies enough. Great price, efficient and was here exactly when they said they would be. Garden left spotless.
