My wedding hair was absolutely amazing and it held up so well considering it was such a hot day. Looked no different from 12:30 when she finished, than at 23:30 when the guests left! Kylie is lovely chatty. I would recommend double checking all of the invoices prior and the website as there were charges I had not been aware of due to it being a Sunday wedding, these were waived due to the confusion which I was very grateful for. Kylie was incredible! I recently got married and booked Kylie for bridal hair and two bridesmaids. I couldn’t have asked for more. Her work is beautiful, her years of experience are evident through her ability to transform hair into works of art! From the first point of contact she was extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and honest and everything went smoothly and as expected on the day. Kylie did my bridal hair and bridesmaids hair for my wedding day. The work was done to a high standard and Kylie was very easy to communicate with and develop ideas for what we wanted right up until the day. I was having a lot of change to my hair and went to Kylie for cut and colour leading up to the day. It was really helpful to have two bridal hair trials as this really helped me compare a couple of different looks and see what was possible with my hair (I had a pixie and was going white blonde with a pearlescent toner) I was unsure about how much could be achieved and Kylie’s open mind and creativity meant that we achieved a really great look for me and my bridesmaids that suited the feel of the day. I regret choosing Kylie Rose Hair for my wedding hair based on the following facts. The day before my wedding I received a final invoice which included two hidden charges that I was not at any point made aware of until the day before my wedding day. There was an £80 ‘assistant fee’ - Kylie had informed me that her assistant would be with us early but never mentioned that there would be an extra fee for this. There was also a £50 ‘before 8am call out’ fee which I was never made aware of. In total this was an extra £130 the day before my wedding which I felt like I was backed into a corner to pay or be left with no hairdresser for my wedding day. I paid the money which frustrates me now but I had no choice, I felt like Kylie took advantage of the emotional rollercoaster you’re on as a bride to charge more. When I told Kylie I was unaware of these extra charges I was expecting an apology or have these extra charges waved as a gesture of good will as they were never included in my original quote, but instead I received a very condescending and patronising voice note from Kylie, making me feel wrong and cheap for questioning extra charges I wasn’t aware of. Kylie arrived an hour later than planned/organised on the day. It was planned Kylie would be with me at 11:15 for me to be ready for 12:30 and Kylie didn’t arrive until 12:15 and I was getting married at 1pm. Kylie never apologised for being late. Kylie’s assistant, Amy was really lovely and did a great job of the bridesmaids hair on her own, Amy did 95% of the hair on the day, ironic when I booked Kylie Rose Hair? Kylie came in late, like a whirlwind made the last 45 minutes quite hectic, back combed my hair quite hard, I think because she knew she was late. I was very happy with how my hair looked on the day just not the whole experience. I certainly didn’t get the service Kylie prides her business on, I didn’t get left “feeling calm, relaxed”. More...

I messaged Kylie in a bit of a panic 48 hours before my wedding as I needed my roots doing and my hairdresser had let me down! Not only did she manage to fit me in for a full head of highlights and cut she went out of her way to see if anyone was available to do my hair the morning of the wedding as she was already booked. We were sadly unable to find anyone so she gave me a tutorial of how to simple but good looking style 😍 such a lovely helpful person who will go above and beyond for anyone! Kylie was fantastic! On the day she was calm and funny, making the getting ready process so relaxed. During the last minute rush to get the dress/shoes on and the curlers out Kylie worked around my mum and my make up artist, ensuring every curl was perfect until the moment I walked out of the door. My hair didn't budge all day/night; big curls that were so smooth with perfectly placed pearl pins, I loved it! She also did my bridesmaid's hair, two with curls, with crazy staying power, lasting all day and night and one who had it straightened; I've never seen hair look so smooth and shiny.
