Whilst Darren talks the talk and seems competent and charming, the quality of work is poor. He reconfigured a gate and fence for me. The timber mounting posts were precariously attached to the existing concrete posts by screws and were literally hanging off with a 3cm gap; the bolt holes for the gate locks did not aligned, the fence panels were screwed instead of nailed and so split and the fence was uneven and attached to a rotten post. Good morning. Seems excessive and upsetting, the only panels that were screwed were additioanl ones i put on foc so it looked better from looking up the garden. Apologies for the the use of the post with the slightly rotton top to the post but sadly this was your original post. The allignent was down to movemet with the seasonal change. Along with all the other work that you were very happy with and the 1.5 tomne of waste i helped you dispose free of charge it does seem a pretty angled assultbon a few discrepancies. Im sad you feel like this. I apologise that the original fence was rotten on the top of a 1.8 piece of 4x2 that none of us noticed. I am glad though that the other 80% of the works is still great as you mentioned. BW Darren

He quoted happy that evening for with, and without concrete posts and gravel boards but being so competitive we went for the premium solution. Darren installed our fence ensuring the rot from the old was removed and ensured everything was level and set before proceeding with hand panelling. Great result that will last for years.
