I have been working with dogs now for over 5 years. I was previously employed by another business doing various services such as group walking, and behaviour modification.
I have ran my own business for the past 2 years and I offer solo and group dog walks, behaviour modification sessions, dog sitting and the selling of natural treats.

Kieren has been helping us with our 2 year old Shih tzu Ella. Ella pulls on the lead and is very reactive to dogs she does not know. She’s not aggressive she just wants to get to them to play but squeals and scares them or causes them to react. Kieren was a God send. On his first visit he patiently listened to what we had to say then took Ella out with us prioritising the pulling issue first. Kieren explained and demonstrated what techniques we should use to stop the pulling. The second visit Kieren concentrated on Ella’s reactive problem. Again we were shown what techniques to use . We have followed Kieran’s advice and found that Ella is improving everyday. We can’t thank Kieren enough we now have a dog that is a pleasure to walk. Kieran has been walking our dog Moose for the past couple of months, and we recently did a 1-1 training session with him to work on lead pulling and reactivity. He is incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging, he demonstrated techniques and tips and then let us practice, giving us feedback and advice. I walked Moose today putting into practice everything he taught us and it was incredible how much of a difference Kieran has made. We had a great walk and I was able to walk Moose past 2 dogs with no reaction (where previously, he would be unmanageable, he would jump, scream and lunge). Today he wasn’t pulling at all, the lead was loose and he was calm throughout. We have seen a few other trainers in the past and Kieran is by far the most knowledgeable, supportive and passionate about what he does. He has grown our confidence massively. Kieran helped us with our Doberman, if you would have told me 3 months ago that I would be walking Dexter on a slip lead I would have laughed in your face. Dexter also had issues with being nervous and reacting to people but mainly dogs. We have constantly worked on the instructions Kieran gave us and I am so happy to say we had a lovely walk in Heaton Park yesterday surrounded by many dogs and people. We own an 18 month old Doberman that is very reactive and struggled to listen while out and about. Kieran helped us tremendously to lay down good foundations that we now apply all the time. We have been able to get rid of a head collar and feel in control with a slip lead; something we didn’t think was possible in the beginning. Kieran was brilliant with our cockapoo Louie. We contacted him due to Louie’s reactivity towards other dogs, pulling on the lead and general attention seeking behaviours. He gave us strategies and was able to quickly identify why he was behaving in certain ways making us change our mindset. He was so knowledgable about the issues and made us feel confident that they were issues that could easily be resolved. It was clear that he was passionate and really cared about dogs. After our first session, we noticed big improvements with his behaviours and implemented it throughout the week before our next session. He was great at checking in and seeing how things were going. I contacted Kieran as I was struggling with my rescue Alma. She is a reactive dog who gets very stressed when people enter the house. She also has a bad biting issue especially with my son which was my main concern. Kieran was brilliant. He explained her behaviours and why she was acting this way. He gave us techniques to use with Alma to help resolve her issues and behaviour. He also offered dietary advice which was extremely helpful. We booked two sessions and after one we were already seeing improvements. We have worked hard to put method into practice. Amazing with our lab star. Pulling on the lead, shown us a better type of Lead and how to correct her in the right way Over reacts to other dogs also and Kieron on our crash course has shown us how to approach positively with stars walks and change direction of walks to avoid these reactions so she’s focussed on the walk. I cannot recommend Kieran enough! We rescued our dog Ty in February and have seen a number of behavioural issues that I was really at a loss with, from an obsession with footballs, a dislike for hoovers and hairdryers, pulling on the lead …. Just to name a few. I contacted Kieran for help after a stressful dog walk where he pulled me over. Kieran replied so quickly and recommended a crash course of two sessions to get him started. Our first session was so rewarding, seeing such a difference in Ty was amazing! We’ve done our homework and put a lot of work in during our first week and are already seeing some brilliant results. We’ve just completed our second session tonight and although we went into a park that had so many triggers for him, the results are incredible. Kieran is amazing, he explained in really clear and simple ways about his breeding and how that affects his behaviour, how his diet affects him and gave me so much confidence. That regardless of his size and strength, I now have the tools and knowledge in how to train him. I’m looking forward to the next few weeks and seeing how our training pays off. Knowing that Kieran is only a message away, the help and support even when he’s not helping me face to face will help me get there with Ty. If you are looking for a trainer, Kieran is who you need. Had my first session with Kieran and Luna is already showing improvement in her behaviour Getting information on food to give her was an eye opener- I am feeding her Skittles and Red Bull - no wonder she is like she is 🙄 Correction training - wow I didn’t even know that it’s just a matter of repetition and after not even 24 hours she’s learning who is boss and it’s not her I am looking forward to putting all this in practice and getting to know and understand my beautiful girl Thank you

Group dog walking
Group dog walking are perfect for dogs that need that little bit of exposure to the presence of other dogs. These walks are best suited to those dogs that are well behaved with not many behaviour problems.
