We have just had our beautiful garden completed by the team at Kingswood Drives and Patios. At the start of our search to find a landscaper we didn’t know what we wanted to do with the garden it was a very large area, had no turf and wasn’t level. We needed to find someone who was knowledgeable and had an eye for design.

I had called more than 10 landscapers in Northants - many of which didn’t return my calls. A few did book to visit and didn’t show up, and the visits we had were quite rushed and we didn’t feel they spoke enough about the work they would carry out. None of them gave immediate quotes so we had to wait days before we heard back. None of these landscapers talked about their processes or mentioned a guarantee to support their work.

I decided to have one last try and used Bark where I selected four landscapers. Out of the four Kingswood were the only company to call me back straight away. I spoke to Miles who called me on Good Friday and said he could come over the same day. I was shocked it was a holiday and he was willing to visit. He talked about the company and asked many questions about what I wanted.

Miles said he would take a look and see what ideas he could give us. True to his word he arrived on time and spent almost an hour explaining what could be done and importantly also talked about the different processes that would be carried out depending on which stones we chose, drainage and design. We received a quote that day which was only subject to change if we decided to change materials. He told us not to rush and to think about it and that he would come back in the week with his brochures to look at slabs. I still had a few questions so messaged Miles on Bank Holiday Monday and said to him not to worry calling back that day but he called back straight away and said he would be round in the week.

On his next visit Miles went through his brochure, showing us the different types of slabs, designs and colours, there were many to choose from. We made a decision quite quickly as we knew what we wanted and he estimated the job could be done in a week as it was a lot of work. We chose Kingswood because we felt that Miles was 100% reliable, consistent, always returned our calls and answered our many questions. He was extremely knowledgeable compared to the other landscapers we had seen and quoted us on the same day. He had taken a lot of time on the day of his visit to go through in detail what could be done and also spent a lot of time after that visiting us and answering more questions.

He explained that he would have a team on the job and we found them to be very hard working, friendly, tidy and they kept checking throughout the job that we were happy with how things were progressing. They spent a good amount of time preparing a good solid foundation that is built to last. We were so impressed that we have asked Miles to come back and work/design our front garden which will involve laying a new path and taking out shrubbery and turf.

We absolutely love our new garden and it displays the high standards that Kingswood have in their work as they strive to make sure the job is done properly and that as a customer you are completely happy.
