I have worked with Robert on our side extension and loft conversion project. He arranged an initial meeting to understand our requirements. Throughout the meeting he presented a number of suggestions and ideas. He then produced a first draft which was followed by several meetings to refine the design and drawings until we produced the final plan. He also helped with planning application. Design and Planning
This includes meetings with you to review your requirements and a survey of the relevant parts of the building. Next we create 2D and 3D representations of our design proposal to discuss and refine together. Finally, we'll handle your planning application using a pack of drawings that can also be used for indicative quotations from builders.
Building Regulations
We'll produce a detailed set of drawings to demonstrate compliance with relevant Building Regulations, including fire safety, insulation, heating and cooling, ventilation, drainage and electrics. This includes details showing the material build-up of floors, walls and roofs. We can also then assist with the tender process using this full pack of drawings to find the most suitable contractor.
Construction Stage
We'll act as Contract Administrator monitoring construction via regular site visits and signing-off contractor progress and invoices. We will also handle any claims for more time or money to help keep your project on time and on budget. Post completion, we'll ensure any latent defects are recorded and rectified.
